Refreshed 22nd Apr (Posted 20th Apr)
The Honeywell HT-900E Turbo Fan is an upgrade on HT-800E turbo fan with it's quiet and powerful blade.
This fan has achieved an even quieter output with a noise reduction of 25 per cent on the previous model.
The powerful three speed fan allows you to choose your desired air flow providing you with optimum coolness, and the variable tilt with 90 degrees pivot means you can direct air flow at different angles and into different spaces.
There is a wall mountable feature on this fan which means you can mount it on the wall and save floor or desk space.

Fairly good price at the moment, ideal for the upcoming summer (hopefully)

Hope it helps someone

Every single fan just creates airflow, they don't cool the air, even a tower fan. You would need an air-conditioning unit to actually cool the air.

Got one of these on each bedside cabinet and they whilst a bit loud keep you nice and cool on the low setting. Keep you even cooler on high but hard to sleep through
Paid £25 quid from Amazon in November. Good fan, used on a turbo trainer, works a treat.
I’m a fan of this
Can stick it to your wall and never need to put it away in the winter

Thanks, brought one. Looks like from the reviews this is small but powerful fan. I always needed a second in my home, I was really sick of unplugging it from behind the sofa in the lounge and taking my current one to the bedroom, and vice versa during the day. I just need some air circulation in the bedroom to make it easier to sleep!
Voted hot (for the cold ). Ordered thanks.

Update 22/04/19: Arrived yesterday morning (Easter Sunday) - which was earlier than expected

First day/night impressions:
So far so good. Yes, instantly noticed control were annoying located (but this was as advised by posters and I think in product description). Does the job I need it to well. No issues so far. Thanks once again poster.

BUY THIS NOW folks. These will be sold out or cost like £50 once it actually gets hot.

Reviews state people paying around £25 earlyish last year, then wanting to buy another, prices increased to £60 during the hot spell

Mines ordered
Thanks, ordered. Not going to risk being caught short of fans this year!

No. And the rear dial is a bit awkward to reach, even in normal use.

Plug it into a tp link kasa and control it with your phone or even better the Google home mini

If you adjust the reviews for any fake reviews, this probably got 0.5 stars.
I have this, it's fine just the control knob is awkwardly placed, so just worth knowing, either just deal with it or use the mains as your main control.
I bought 2 of these and a remote power plug for my turbo trainer. Warm up and then zap them on!

Or not

Looking online quickly reveals this fan is much worse than the older HT 809 it replaced. There are some good comparisons on YT.
Looking on amazon page it's really small, can't imagine it would be very good.
Also reviews say it’s quite noisy so probably not great for the bedroom
I have one of these. They are quite noisy & the fan output is quite narrowly focussed, so very directional. I stopped using mine & went back to my old pedestal fan. It's a decent product as long as you're ok with it being a bit loud & very directional. The switch location at the bottom is a bit annoying to use too.

Depends what you want - yes it may not be as powerful between the modes but for a bedside cabinet and sleeping the lower power/quieter noise is much more suited.

Thanks O.P, and thanks cannycoyote for your heads-up too: I just went to Amazon for the Q&A's - great fun (like the wolf & full moon t-shirt comments there running into hundreds of increasingly mad effect-on-wearers-lovelife comments ).

P.s. Many of the large number of neg' reviews are good humoured too "... the fan itself is so loud, and does not seem to do much of what you would expect from a fan. Please buy this product if you like a drumming sound and being hot."

Bought one Friday. Very powerful for it's size. Loud but its £20, it isn't a Dyson!

I paid £30 for this last summer from Amazon (still worth the money). I'm half-tempted to buy a second one.
