This fan has achieved an even quieter output with a noise reduction of 25 per cent on the previous model. The powerful three speed fan allows you to choose your desired air flow providing you with optimum coolness, and the variable tilt with 90 degrees pivot means you can direct air flow at different angles and into different spaces. There is a wall mountable feature on this fan which means you can mount it on the wall and save floor or desk space, please see the images above for an example of how this could look. I have this and its a beast, quite loud though, heat added.

Loud even with the 25% reduction in noise for this model ? Please confirm
Great for cooling when you’re on the turbo trainer!

Ah yeah, just saw that, didn't flag up as an duplicate.
I have it, its loudness is "reasonable" I would say for its size. On the low setting it's not too intrusive.
I wonder how lady switch is today lol
I remember this skyrocketing last year when we had a week of sunshine and this is a good price. Left it in my Amazon basket thereafter and bought one myself for £21.99 on 28th March so this is cheaper still, heat added - until you turn it on obviously It’s worth that much but nothing more. If you want to get hounded to the grave by junk emails like me, I’ll be buying something more substantial from CPC. Good find @Mrswitch

Not as loud or cooling as the one next to it!
Thanks for that.

We have 2 of these (one each for the children's bedrooms).

The one that we bought first years ago is getting a little more noisy so ordered another to replace it.

They are fairly quite on the lower setting which is ideal to have running through the night in the summer.
It's really not that loud at all

Yea sorry I've got the older model. Didn't see it was different. I can vouch for it shifting some serious air though for the size of the fan.
think instructions say 58decibels
mine came with motor rattling about inside

I returned one of these last year - it moves air but its loud and slightly obtrusive even in a moderately noisy environment. For me, totally unusable at night in the bedroom.

I'm constantly told I have to put one in in my deals
Got it for £20 when it was on sale. Has it gone up by 75p?!
Got one on offer when it was £20 was rubbish soon sent it back! to noisy! also would now prefer a oscillating fan. Just my 2p worth...
got one, slightly loud. not bad though
agree with comment from Rich_T, it is not great at cooling a room down at all. I have a fairly small living room and the thermostat actually showed room increasing in heat by over 1 degree. I never checked the size when I bought at £20, it is noisy but will double it up with another one from another manufacturer and see how that gets on.

A 'fan' won't cool a room down - it will move the hot air around. Only an air conditioner will cool a room down...
This is a pound more expensive that it was a few days ago... I bought several of them for £19.75 from Amazon. Great fan. Not too loud at all and very powerful.

I have several of them. All are fine. I don't find them too loud on any setting. The lowest setting is certainly quiet enough for anyone to sleep. I've had lots of £400+ Dyson fans and they were louder and less powerful than this cheapo fan. It's not silent by any means but doesn't bother me at all. It's quieter than my large pedestal fan that I've owned for many years. I find the lowest setting a bit too powerful though - it's very powerful even on the lowest setting.

Many thanks Master Yoda. I will now order one !! 🙏🏽
The reply is the best
I bought this fan recently from the last Amazon deal for it at £20.
I wanted it for the bedroom, but its too noisy to have on when i'm trying to sleep. Its even louder than a 20 year old Pifco fan i have and that is bigger with a wider blade.
I was tempted to send it back, but there are things i like about it. For its small blade it really does shift a decent amount of air. It seems well made, with a quality feel to it and i like how compact it is. For small rooms being used when there's other noise of tv and music etc, the fan noise on lowest setting is ok. These fans also seem to be long lasting, i've read many posters on here saying they've had one for years. Its also nice and compact for storage, where most fans spend most of their time in this country.
I would have liked it to be a bit quieter, but for its plus points i consider it worth £20, but i wouldn't pay more for it.

Each will have their own opinion here regarding noise – I always sleep with some sort of fan running in the bedroom so I’m not unused to noise – this was way to noisy though even for use in say a living room while watching TV.

If you want a quiet fan go for a bog standard plastic table/desk or pedestal fan, as big as you can go.
