better wait for honor 8 to be announced on 24th august

How much is the honor 8 likely to be? £250-300?

Seems a very good price, although having looked a bit closer at the selfie-stick it's tiny, 66cm extender and a plug-in type, how very last year!!

From the US pricing I would think £300, minimum. Should be worth that though from the early reviews on YouTube, looks pretty special.. Does it beat the OP3 though? We'll see, can't wait to get it in my hands to compare

Oh and heat! Got my code yesterday too and am waiting for the H8

£350 apparently although not confirmed. UK release is Wednesday.

£350 is a bit rich for my liking with the price the P9 has been on refresh. Was hoping it would be had at £300 but think £350 is realistic considering Huawei are sneaking their prices up across their entire range

Hopefully they don't follow Apple and Samsung with their crazy prices, the reason why they are popular is because of their relatively cheap price.

How do you get the voucher?I have subscribed but no email yet

Thanks, ordered the Honor 7 for Daughter, with the special Flip Case, got the £16 Discount too.

I too hope that Huawei don't push the price up. Its supposed to replace the Honor 7 which was being sold for £249 before being reduced to £209 and now with codes is £194. To price it at over £300 would be suicidal for sales.. The only reason these phones sell so much and are being noticed is the extremely competitive price. If its £300 then you may as well buy the OnePlus3.. Its a far superior phone.

I thought it was the Snapdragon 821? But yes, much as I love the Honor 7 I'm not convinced on the pricing of the 8 and will likely wait to see where the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is positioned price wise.

I would go for the moto G4 same kind of price same kind of phone...

better than an HTC m8 ??

Honor 8 is more premium than the 7 was, the fact that it starts at 32GB puts the price up straight away.

Nope, the 5c beats the Moto G4 on the hardware front, faster cpu, fingerprint sensor, compass, nfc. Moto G4 is better on the software front, almost stock android.

The honor 8 will be overpriced at around £300+,while the p9s price goes down!!

How is this compared to the p9 lite and nexus 5x?

easy to fix the launcher with a replacement app such as nova. this will also allow using stock android icons. the rest of the emotion u.i. isn't so bad imho

4% cashback at TCB too.

I did, but regretted it. The battery management isn't a patch on the Huawei.

My girlfriend went for the G4 after the experia z3 mini died after one year... I think the phone is quite good for £130. on offer, on the other Hand my nexus 5x (more expensive) can only see the camera being better...

I wouldn't as it doesn't have NFC, which is essential now that Android Pay has arrived in the UK.

The fingerprint sensor is not present on the European models.

Oh well just cancelled my order as status is 'Order on Request' which basically means out of stock don't know when its due. Called the 0800 number and although very helpful, 'call back in a week' to check status is no much help to me.

now that's a phone worth waiting for.... if the uk gets it. bet we don't get the ultra

ordered thanks

£369 for the Honor 8. I'm sorry, but they have priced themselves out of the midrange market there. Even the P9 is better priced than that.

Yes i was waiting for the Honor 8 Price. Too much. Not sure what to get now. Whats the best 200quid range 5.2 screen phone?

I don't seem to be able to get the voucher code :-(

Greatdane

If you don't mind 'like new': o2 Refresh - Samsung Galaxy S6 - Perfect condition Gold or White - £197.99

Or, this deal may return: Huawei P9 (like new) Titanium Grey 32GB - o2 Refresh - £192.00

Keep this page pinned in your browser & check everyday for stock (for as long as you're willing to wait) - it will say whether in or oos on that page itself couple of inches below 'Condition' (when viewed via a PC/laptop):

Remember to refresh the page each day, as some browsers tend to display the previous / outdated page.
