Who the hell is honer?

Another name for Huawei basically. They thought it might be a more premium western brand name I believe. So not an unknown basically.

Huweai. Honor is their phone range (i.e Samsung Galaxy).
this or nokia 6
Honor are Huawei mid to low range phones.
Looks slight more cack than every other Honor 6 phone I can find listed on gsmarena. Am I correct?
what is the best budget 5" phone at the moment with decent specs?
Can some one pls advise is this one better or Vernee Thor Plus. I know the specs but how will it compare in real life performance? Thanks
Similar question from me. Which is the best sub £100 android handset at the moment?

No full HD would be my biggest bugbear on this and few other sub £100 deals around. I've just received my mum's zte v7 from three for £90 (poss £15 tcb) after seeing thread on here. There's a nice comparison here with comparable phones when it was released. Obviously you have to decide what matters to you I got V7 cos it has decent camera, screen and although 5.2" it's large screen ratio is more like the 5" here (she doesn't like large form factor). Some negative factors, biggest being 2500mAh battery imo, but those from that review like

-single-band Wi-Fi
-speaker's sound
-screen's color fidelity
-no NFC
-no fingerprint scanner
-"only" 2 GB RAM

just don't matter to someone who only calls and looks/takes pictures of family when using whatsapp

I believe it's going in and out of stock now though. The G5 which my brother got recently is great too esp. if you see it again at £90.
Annoys me that the mid range phones often don't have NFC, how much is an NFC module!?

The ZTE 7 looks tempting though out of stock, and how long will the battery last if the phone is just on standby?
According to that article they've optimised it well, half the wattage of some of the others. Browsing on wifi is about 8 hours I'd imagine pure standby will be well over a week like most phones. It'll charge in a couple of hours too, no quick charge number for sure, but it'll top up well on a car journey for example
yeah im tempted, decent camera, not too huge. big battery. compass.
no nfc (dont care) no fingerprint (dont care)

lots of chinese phones on that site hmm
This or a 1 year old 2nd hand LG G5 H850 for £120 ?
Same as the huawei y6 I think. The huawei p8 lite 2017 at 129.99 is a better bet imo

I agree, it is a real downward spiral. I found this other site that sells loads of phones manufactured in China... apple.com/iph…ne/

dont be a ****wit, you know exactly what people mean by chinese brands.
Around this price the Nokia 6 I posted if you are happy to rely on the cashback from TCB/Quidco to bring under £100 (£135 without), or you could go with the Nokia 5 for c.£105 without, £55 with cashback. Great for updates, Huawei and these Moto not known so much for them now.
oooh nokia 5 for 105 that's nice. except camera probably worse than this? where's that ?

edit: CPW, found it. lol way cheaper than their black friday deals! but its 99+10 no?

nokia6 is bigger phone, more comparable to the honor6x?

16gb of storage and 2gb of ram is just not enough on Android any more. This phone has a very limited life span left.

2gb ram should be alright for most things for a few years. 16gb could be an issue, you'd want to root and use link2sd probably. i'm managing just about with 1gb/8gb still haha.
