I have a 6X a really great phone, just purchased the 7X so now Im sorted happy to share. Its not a Note 8+ but its nearly a 1/3 of price and not far behind. Note this is the 64 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM model not the the 32 Gb hence a good price if you dont want to go the 'chinese way' with your purchase.

Hope its sorts someone - Im a happy bunny - and no it doesn't have NFC but my life will continue without it - happily - at least I know some little scroat with appropriate software cant poach of my phone...

Honor phones always popular on hukd. Although, you could pay £40 more and get the honor 9.

I have bought the honor 9 sim free for £329 from argos. Looks to me same specs (no NFC) but for £100 less. Good deal 🔥
Honor 9 lite is better than the actual honor and certainly compared to this one
Good price for a quality phone. Anyone looking to save a little further though on this phone (this is a deal site after all) found one on ebay £189.99 (plus £5.50 p+p) in UK.
check out three store - Sim free for £219 + £10 sim (30 day good data/calls allowance). All 3 PAYG phones are unlocked

Nice spot but I guess some will prefer the ease of the return process with Argos if issues arise - pay your money take your choice

The Honor 9 Lite isn't better than the Honor 9, it just has a different screen aspect ratio.

The Honor 9 has a much more powerful SOC, more RAM and Storage, and better quality rear cameras.

Very nice but according to reviews another £100 in price smaller screen and not out until end of March 2017 - does look a nice bit of kit but again pays your money and takes your choice - battery is smaller too.

I would say it's personal choice. Honor 9 has big ugly bezel and looks ugly. Specs on honor 9 lite are good and it's a lot cheaper.

What actually sold me on the 7X was how impressive the 6X I purchased as a replacement for a Sony Z5 Premium was. Everything was better IMO definatley the camera.

7X is IP67 waterproof (6X not) & that is useful for me skiing, pool, rainy days etc. Also nicer form factor bigger screen and less bezel
Where does it say the 7x has ip67?
so much choice, looking on fleabay the honor 9 lite is coming in at £200 or less than £10 a month, that way I get to keep my plusnet sim and pay £15pcm - so little between all these phones with the huawei p smart coming off vodafone exclusive next month, so much choice on mid range phones - heat added

Totally agree regarding the 6x Mann. Bought one for the Mrs 6 months ago and it's been excellent. She's a high user and can still get 8 hours of screen on time over a two day period. On my One Plus 3 I could only dream of such battery life even though screen size and battery size are identical in both phones.

Totally agree agent. No need to spend any more than £250 these days and still have lots of choice.
I got the Xiaomi Mi a1 which competes with this but at a much lower price
It does have NFC...may be the specification is wrong on the the site.

The 7x doesn't have NFC, but the very similar Honor 9 Lite does.

No, the Honor 7X doesn't have NFC I've had one of these, I sent mine back due to touch screen issues
Amazing stand by time .
Forgot to lift it leaving the house for work.
13 hours later it's only lost 3%.
Outstanding

Mentions IP67 - also the reviewer must have shares in Huawei as the review is very complementary
Morning. Can anyone help with any links or advice regarding a screen protector.
I purchased a tempered glass one from Amazon uk and it created a white area around the periphery of the screen. Tried this twice and same issues. Been reading around and said this ia a problem on the phone due to the slightly curved screen.
Can anyone who has purchased a screen protector send any links to one which they experienced no issues with.
There is a review for an IQ shield matt protector on YouTube which looked impressive but i cannot find any links for uk sellers.
Any help is most appreciated. Cheers.

Review is wrong I believe. If it was IP67 rated then it should be listed on gsmarena under SIM in the BODY section and it's not there >

gsmarena.com/hua…php

Here's an example >

gsmarena.com/goo…php

In the BODY section under the sub heading SIM it shows IP67, for the Honor 7X it doesn't show that.

I even used one before. Great product in this price slot
Don't mean to pee on the OP's chips but these have been this price at Argos for weeks, amazed it hasn't already been posted.

I did actually buy one but took it back due to the fact that mobile data point blank refused to work. If you're thinking of getting one: Battery life was pretty awesome, screen very nice (although I don't like 18:9 it must be said), it was fairly quick and the software had some nice little extras (funky live wallpapers, screen/sound recording just two examples). The notification LED was almost totally useless and IMO fingerprint scanner too high on the rear, very slippery in hand too. Still worth buying? Absolutely!

Nothing you can do about that other than buying the plastic thin type of protector instead. Rigid glass will not bend at the edges to stick to the screen. Annoying as many phones do this now Samsung S7 (non Edge version), Honor 9 Lite as well.
Any screen protector that is not rigid should be fine. THe downside is these are pain to put on without getting air bubbles though.
