For some unknown reason it seems the majority of the phones in the UK come with one SIM only. Things started to change a bit over the past 2 years, so some are available dual sim now.
My 3 years old phone is one SIM, while in Europe same phone is dual SIM. Don't know if these is no demand here, but all my phones purchased from abroad over the past 10 years were dual SIM and same models were only one SIM in the UK.
