Sold mine for what I paid for it.I think this is one of those models that will get more expensive as time goes by, just like the P Smart did.

You would make £20 profit from friends and family? Classy!

You forgot p&p and sending them from post office, then problems if something will go wrong with phone and ebuyers aren't always best costumers.. Trump is not helping either...
Great phone for the price, had mine for about 15 months and it has not missed a beat. Some slowdown when trying to multitask but that's to be expected. Just updated to Android/EMUI 9 as well

Can I use my tesco vouchers to drop price down? Can't see "use voucher" option
Good price, bought a couple of these not so long ago for my in laws and they're both extremely happy with them.
A very capable phone for this price and decent build quality too, well worth a 100 quid of anyone's money.
Pretty decent phone, had mine a while, miui 9 is actually not too bad. Dropped in the bath and it took a few days to recover but still works fine. Good little second phone.

Same here ... I got £25 in vouchers & can see any option?
Tempted by this after sitting in a pool for half hr with my 2018 P Smart in my pocket and no luck with drying it. How does it compare?
for somebody that has never had a smartphone - is this easy to use?
Mrswitch (if you are out there), this or the note 7 3gb, 32gbRam - for about the same money? - for a first phone for a young teenager!

Wife has had P9L for almost 1yr, decent phone decent camera great build quality.
I've just got RN7 on MrSwiich deal. Similar decent build quality, better camera, bigger screen, bigger battery - highly recommend.
Just haven't found a decent case for it yet with screen lip and camera cover - tried 3 so far!

For me prb the note 7, but I like the smaller screen for my child. Thanks.
Aren't Honor going to be subject to the same restrictions as Huawei in regards to the Play Store and the US Gov ruling?

Been looking for a cheap phone for my son as a first phone...Nice one OP
Great phone

Different experience:

I have redmi 5 plus bought Feb 2018. Forgot it in France and bought this to replace however found it lagging in comparison. The snapdragon in redmi really shows the power. Also the UI of Huawei is not great number keypad is from 1980's and iritating to eyes and brain, when in this digital age you can beautiful keypads.

Returned in two days when i had my phone delivered back thanks to a relative travelling.

Maybe mine was one off but I will stay away from Huawei for forseeable future.
I have this phone and really like it. It's well worth the money.

Same phone virtually
Shame can’t add to the basket
Much better phones out there for the money - I would recommend Vernee X2 - also 3GB/32GB, dual sim and a whopping 6350mah battery - £99 on Amazon at mo but has been £82 on lightning deals
My wife was annoyed with this phone as calls were quiet and would often cut off. Sim is with Plusnet. Anyone have the same trouble with the phone or is it the network? Cheers

Good luck!
I take it that this phone is locked to the TESCO Network then?, or ... thanx.

SIM FREE mate
Love my H9L. Battery life is starting to suffer now though after 18 months of constant use.
Won't they have to get there own OS now because they can't use android services or google anymore?
I thought Tesco stopped selling anything but household items online months ago?

Yes this is definitely a step down from the 5 Plus. If you want something to replace it from Xiaomi that's better, you're probably best going for the Mi 9 SE (similar screen size to your 5 Plus, but smaller overall) or the Mi 9T (bigger screen, similar size overall).

nope, they still sell mobile phones and sim cards, sim free and Tesco Mobile PAYG

As stated, the Note 7 is far superior, but it's bigger. If you want something smaller, you could consider the Mi A2 Lite. It's better than the Honor 9 Lite and a similar price. It's actually slightly smaller with a slightly bigger screen - but it does have a notch though.

Same, apart from the update crippled the performance of mine.

There's about 400MB left of the 3GB of RAM left after killing all running apps. Performance is a bit better after a full power down/up, but it's back to being sluggish to the point of unusable by the end of the day.
