There's an added bonus with buying this from John Lewis - it comes with a John Lewis two year warranty.
My son loves his. Few less features if using iOS app though.

Yes, tried mine on my iPhone, but put the app on an old android phone instead. You can't change the watch faced on iOS.

Which is better, this or the Xiaomi Mi band 4?
Amazing product. Bought for £30 last week on amazon and so impressed!

Easy pairing with my Huawei and the sleep tracking and heartbeat tracking is accurate.
I hope they've improved the strap as I'm already on my third in less than a year on the band 4.

If battery life is important the Band 4 does about 20 days on a charge

but as i've found the Honor Band gets you through the working week fine and a weekly charge should be ok especially if you turn off sleep monitoring and constant heart rate monitor

I was a bit interest in the sleep patterns but once you've seen it for a few days of sleep info not much reason to keep it on at night

Pins snap first then the plastic part that is inside the strap go next. So annoying as it's a really good watch otherwise!
Anyone had trouble with it reading too many steps. It said I did 10000 steps before 5 o’clock yesterday & I was sat in the van most of the day ?

I bought a Xiaomi Mi Band 4 for my sister for Christmas, thinking OK it's Xiaomi but this is a respected brand now. My sister has a Nokia 5 potato smartphone however she couldn't get past the profile page on the Mi app. I installed the app on my phone and I then realized that the app is so badly programmed that it doesn't account for smaller screen sizes, so the continue button couldn't be seen. This was my first experience of using any Xiaomi product and it made me think, if they get simple stuff like this wrong what else do they get wrong? I'll likely being very critical, it was a present and it didn't work. I looked up various fixes online and the solution is to buy a 3rd party Mi Tools app for £3.29. She didn't do that, she used my Mum's Galaxy S6 to set up the phone.

No not me . Lol I’ve got 2 on side by side today and one says 2000 steps and another brand says800 steps . I think the honor band is inaccurate

I am going it a try then , as might be useful for my vitality rewards
Can this Control music players like Spotify on a huawei phone?
Had mine for a few weeks now and when comparing step count with my Fenix 5 it reads up to 5% less but pretty close. For running on the treadmill it reads typically 10 to 20% less than the Garmin.

Honestly think this is better than it overestimating. Am so unsure of these watches
I am literally amazed. I bought this fitness band because the Xiaomi I bought for my sister was so bad with the software on Android. And fck me if this pos isn't even worse! I installed the Huawei Health app and it said you need Huawei Mobiles Services installed. So I did that and the Health app crashes saying it needs Huawei Mobile Services to run in the background. So I searched for the fix and the fix was to download a dodgy .apk from the Internet for an older version of Huawei Mobile Services then the Health app works.

So if you get this problem here's a guide to fix it >

So my first experience of a Xiaomi product and a Huawei product is crap software and an extremely poor user experience. So for that reason I'm not going to touch one of their phones if they can't get simple stuff like this right. Dreadful!
Sorry to hear your bad experience with Xiaomi.
Have had Smartband 2, 3, and 4, running on all sorts of Android devices from Samsung Galaxy 4 / Sony Experia to Galaxy 8/9 and my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro (which I love BTW).
Occasionally it takes 2 goes to do the initial pair, but no problems after that - Band 2 still working after 4 years.Only good recommendation from me - Band 4 is really nice.
Thanks for posting. Just bought one of these plus this posted by @RC2016hotukdeals.com/dea…939 Fab deal for £27.99 with a 2 year warranty and free click and collect. A present for me and a present for a friend!
