Anyone knows if this comes with the UK or US keyboard? I am actually a bigger fan of the US keyboard and photos seem to show that

It must have UK plug so it's UK version including UK keyboard

What's the delivery time?
Hmm 14 days... Amazon is delivering in 5 days... Just a matter of £25 (company voucher)
Given how most laptops are rocketing in price at the moment, this is one of the best deals I've seen in a while and in stock too.
Is amazon 2 year warranty as well?

Also, is the office package worth it? £50 for home/student, £40 for 365
Do John Lewis offer additional warranty on this?

Any advantage of buying from JL over Amazon?

Amazon also offers 2 year warranty on laptops.
If you are a stronger person and want a bigger screen with the exact same laptop specs(notwithstanding component parts which I don't believe are listed for this Magic book so they could be any old parts).

Then I would recommend hotukdeals.com/dea…238

Which is 67.7% of the price of this or the magic book is 47.65% more expensive depending on how you like your maths.

The Lenovo also doesn't come with nasty windows although you can buy that for £5 If you wish.
Great spec! Hot.

Not a good deal

Amazon also offers 2 year warranty on laptops.

Amazon never offered 2 year warranty on laptops or any electronics unless that's offered by the manufacturer. JL offers 2 year warranty on all electronics.

I would always go with JL. Hot.

That's not correct. On multiple occasions, I have a confirmation from Amazon about 2 years coverage though the manufacturer offered 1 year. This also extends to other computer accessories as well like iPad keyboard etc.

JL are getting worse with their warranties these days. No better than any other retailer nowadays. The great JL customer service is just not there anymore.

Each to their own. For me JL service has always been excellent and never gone down. And giving the 2 year warranty is in itself a godsend as nearly all retailers only give 1 year with the laptops.
Do you still get the watch with it if you order the grey from JL?

Honor has used quality components in this laptop.
I could send you a link for the teardown video if you want.

The Lenovo is a good deal, but different form factor.

I used to swear by JL but have been let down a few times by them of late. Do a bit of research into their current customer services and you’ll find I’m not the only one to have lost faith in them. They definitely aren’t what they were.
Maybe a stupid question.

Performance wise would I notice an improvement with this over a i5 8gb ram Surface book 2?

I assume build quality will not be as good.

Is that with Intel Core i5-8250U?

If yes, no the i5 is slightly faster still. Ryzen has better graphics than Intel though. So it's better for light gaming.
Hi mate, thanks for the reply, its....

I noticed this earlier, I was planning on cancelling my mystic silver from amazon and ordering they grey from JL. I think I’ll wait til argos release it as it’s not very clear on JL
