As much as i like the magicbook, i just hate that laptop outlet increased the price by 5% to take advantage of the current offer and new users will just buy it not knowing. This is selling in all retail shops and online for £549. I would rather use a discount code with John Lewis and get it rather than LaptopOutlet for the same price.
If it was the RRP and a 10% applicable, i would have been all over it but not with stupid inflated prices.

I was going to purchase this but won't support this seller based on that.

Magicbook Just buy the MacBook, life’s too short

I have a MacBook and i love it but it does have its limitations, i do need windows from time to time.

But mainly this laptop is perfect for travelling and using away from home as i'd prefer to risk having this damaged/stolen rather than my £1500 MacBook.
Still a good price plus you sell on the watch
They put the price up
It's not the first time.

They hiked up the price on the Huawei T5 last time. When the deal gone past 500 degrees.

Some people might want to play games, this is more powerful for that.
Higher than the RRP and also there website so not going to buy from these people hope they are reading this.
I complained to Student Beans a while ago about Laptops Direct as they say they offer student discounts via SB but I couldn’t find any product with which discounts applied. Their website is completely misleading about it. I wouldn’t trust them with a penny of my cash.
Have cancelled my order now, deceitful company!!!
Pricing ethics aside, this or the Matebook?

Apologies for cancellation. As we only had small quantity in first batch, the selling pace was quite fast and hence our backend stock could not delist it in time.
Good news though is we managed to source some more units for and any customers who had their orders cancelled can place it again using same id and we will honour the difference to match their 1st deal price to make it fair

Sorry for the experience. Student beans discount is not available on every item. Only qualifying items will mention it under price in short description section. Though your feedback certainly is vital and it's passed to the team who are working on enhancing user experience.

Got anything to say about the devious and greedy practice you employ on ebay when a voucher is issued.

Generally our marketplace prices are always higher unless some exclusive offers and it's regardless of Voucher discount or not - it's purely due to the fact that on our website we don't have to pay upto X% fee. So as much as we'd love it's virtually not possible to maintain same prices as standard. There are also other factors such as "limited time deals" which on very few items may coincide with eBay vouclers as there are 2-3 a month lately. But there's no deliberate attempt as you will see that reflection on our site as well regardless of the voucher. Apart from that, you won't see any price bell-curves solely for eBay voucher.

Price moves with demand, nothing new or outrageous about that. It's how the world works, regardless of nature of product/service/commodity

Great find OP, I'm sure you got two of these puppies, laptop + freebie

(Myself was lucky enough to grab a beast, suitable for my feline nature ):

Surprised how the prices of the laptop has now gone down to 549 once the offer has expired.
Just plain lies

That is last year's model with a Ryzen 2000 series. If you got that recently, probably worth returning it as not a good deal.
