The Exclusive Honor Play mobile phone delivers a crazy fast, crazy smart performance, at an unbeatable price point, for a phenomenally fun mobile gaming and entertainment experience, thanks to Honor's industry-leading GPU turbo.

GPU Turbo is Honor's groundbreaking hardware-software integrated graphics processing acceleration technology. It reconstructs the traditional graphics processing framework at the lower layer system.

GPU Turbo is a dramatic improvement to graphic processing performance, increasing efficiency by 60 percent and reducing the SoC (System on Chip) energy consumption by 30 percent.

The AI real-time image and audio recognition will vibrate and alert you to the direction of approaching enemies or gunfire, and you will feel the kickback as you pull the trigger. 4D Smart Shock immerses the player within the game itself.

Histen 3D audio technology provides an ultra-wide 3D sound field for gamers, complementary to the 4D Smart Shock. This virtual surround sound offers a cinematic experience from different directions.

Where's a decent 10%-20% eBay code, when you need one?, lol.

OP .. good price still. :-D
Not bad, I go to bed
Bit of an oldie, but considering we still get deals posted of good 2016 phones, we'll have to add some heat now, price is good

Very good phones these. Both my sons have them. But the screen cracked on one and then again on the replacement. Also worth mentioning noone seems to be able to replace cracked screens on these.
Slim chances Honor play will get Emui 10.

That's tbe only downside, love my Honor Play, but I don't understand why they won't update it. Older models are getting emui 10 and not this, makes no sense.

Only thing I can think is that when it came to calculating cost per device/profit margins etc, they factored in the length of support for the device in terms of staff/development time. If it had cost flagship money I would understand any discontent at it not being updated, but when it was as cheap as it was for the specs, something had to give.
This explains why mi 8 and pocofone are such a good value phones. So popular, they will get the support for years, like old LG G2 fromm 2012 and still receiving updates. On other hand, my wife doesn't like her mi 8 and wants honor 8 back, which is now being used as a satnav.

Bought one of these a few months ago for my daughter. It's basically a P20 Pro variant. It's processor is capable of handing Fortnite.

Using it now. Runs everything fine, even demanding games. No lag. No complaints, great price! Coming from Sony Xperia Xz Premium, iPhone 7, Huawei P Smart 2019.
Keep an eye out for the refurb units at £127.99

I have had 2 refurbs from Argos Ebay & they are pristine, probably just open box returns.

I just wanted to point out that they are not "basically the same", as I own the P20 Pro and used many Honors. Yes same processor, but different enough in other specs to notice the superiority of the P20 Pro.

That said, valuable phone the Honor as well.
I honestly would avoid. Won't be getting the new update unlike similar models of the same spec. Huawei company likes to hoard data, the amount of permissions it asks for every little thing.
WiFi - I only get 40-70mb whereas Samsung's and iPhones are getting 110.

Bluetooth earphones don't work on this model very well--the sound quality is bad and cuts off all the time.
