I had a bad experience with O2. 1 month and no unlock code.
Wow, so many of these great Refresh deals that I'm thinking of switching to O2

I would go for Mate20 Pro simply for the OLEd screen...

Since last year all new mobile phones sold by O2 are unlocked. They no longer lock the device even if its a new release. What's your phone model?

They have been looking for its code but don't find it. Its hilarious if it's already unlocked. Dammit

Just released model right? Have you tried different sim card? It's strange if it's locked as I upgraded 5 mobile phones last few months and they all unlocked.

LOL. Try different sim card. I'm sure it's factory unlocked. Sometimes CS reps got no clue.
The Xperia 1 is 100% unlocked from O2, sorry Batmobile but at least now you can rest easy
Would this be a dual sim? Been put off a bit about these O2 deals because phones being single sim
So how do I EXACTLY get it for this price?

I can see where if I pay 210 up front and the cheap contract over 3 months it’s 13 per month for the device, but what about the 17 for tariff which I do not want. Which makes it more like 300.

Don’t know anything about o2 refresh.

EDIT: rather than hijacking the thread I'll just update my comment. So I can pay 20 up front + 76x3months = £250, but I still have to pay 3 months of £17. Heck I still think it's a good deal at £300 but this seems a bit misleading unless I'm missing something. I don't want O2's crappy sim plan.

There is an assumption that everyone understands about O2 refresh because it has been discussed so many times.

You can cancel the airtime whenever you want and pay the balance for the phone.

Worth reading up on this as it doesn't always go smoothly.

Looking at those specifications, does the View 20 really not have band 20? EDIT: checked on other sources and the global version has band 20.

Yeah I've seen it now via other threads. I still think it's a blinding deal and should get much hotter since it was posted at midnight, but... yeah. The having to cancel thing is just meh. But even if they told me to do one, I'd still be a happy camper at 300.
Well I ordered. Amazing deal, just what I've been waiting for. Thanks OP!

Anyone know if the store will waive the ID requirement for family pickup? Got someone in town and I can give them the 4 digit ID, saves me a trip, probably not tho.
This is a bargain price

Theres a lot of highlights about this phone . The camera actually does rival flagships where I've preferred the photos taken on this than even the S10+. It's very quick, battery lasts easily all day. I was on holiday and I used this phone for music, pics and navigation throughout the day and I still had juice leftover by nightfall.

I only can think of two gripes on this phone.
The screen is excellent, very punchy and bright but obviously the blacks are not "blacks" since it's an LCD panel so something to consider.

The other thing I find is the vibrating motor is weak on this phone compared to others I've used.

Overall for the price you won't regret it
Am all over this ... this phone is brilliant for the price ...Adios Pixel 3A XL

It definitely got band 20 if it's sold by O2 directly. O2 use band 20 for 4G services.
Quick no on family without my ID collecting.

So how fast once I've picked it up can I cancel exactly? I'll be ordering Smarty's unlimited SIM.

You can call CS same day and cancel the contract paying device cost. But they might charge you for first month line rental.
I got this phone.,.. great camera , very fast
Highly recommended
Just received the 256gb version with 8gb ram in phantom blue. Brand new. Unlocked. If anyone is interested, give me a shout. As my mate 10 is still running strong.

Single sim?
If anyone with the Honor View 20 hasn’t claimed (and doesnt intend to claim) the free Fortnite code that’s available through ‘gifts’ option on the App Gallery, I have a son who will happily make use of it.

I’d make a small donation to charity of your choice (if only to stop his nagging!)
I was due an upgrade and O2 have offered this to me on a refresh.

I'm not a fan of Huawei or Honor in general (never had one) but it seems to get great reviews so cant be all bad. With the loyalty discount they gave me it worked out £119 for the handset.

That seemed too good to pass up, so will give it a go.

Thanks OP
