Top features:

- AquaVision shows you exactly when the water needs emptying

- Keep your clothes in better condition with sensor drying

- One Touch offers smartphone control features including auto clean, filter clean and voice assist

- Place it anywhere in the home, no outside air vent needed

- Dry your jeans and towels in just 40 minutes

AquaVision

The Aquavision reservoir built right into the tumble dryer's door, makes it easy to see when the water needs emptying and has a convenient handle making it easy to remove for emptying.

An extra-large porthole makes loading and unloading the tumble dryer easier and less of a chore, and puts less strain on your body.

Sensor drying

With sensor drying you can set the level of dryness you need. Once the desired dryness has been achieved, the dryer switches off. This keeps the clothes in better condition as you are not over-drying, and saves on energy bills. Choose from Iron Dry, Store Dry, and Hang Dry.

One Touch control

One touch works as simply as a contactless payment system - with a compatible Android smartphone, you can control, monitor and manage the appliance through the Hoover wizard app. App functions include energy monitoring, machine check up, clever end delay and more.

Place it anywhere in the home

Condenser tumble dryers such as this Hoover do not require an external wall vent to get rid of steam, giving you complete freedom to place it anywhere in your home. Condensed water is instead collected in a container ready for emptying when the indicator lets you know the reservoir is full.

Dry your jeans and towels in just 40 minutes

Rapid 40 minute cotton programs dry small items including jeans and towels in just 40 minutes. It's perfect for when you need something dried fast.

Sent mine back last week....rubbish

Sorry to say that , but this is a crap company and crap equipment , we have one and over first 3 month using it we had 3 visit of engineer , so i would recommend to buy extended warranty.

Hoover, Hotpoint, indesit, candy all same company and all crap I'm afraid

Usually keep washing machine repair engineers in a job.
Same goes for fridges and cookers.

What was once a trusted British brand is now owned by some international group out to make as much profit as possible and keep quality down.
Unfortunately many Brits still think of Hotpoint and Hoover as trusted brands. Sad really
John Lewis own brand is actually made by AEG and come with 3 year warranty as standard.
Much better choice in my opinion.

Good price, shame about the product

Thanks for posting OP
Hoover and hotpoint are only built to last maximum of 2yrs...that came from a hotpoint engineer...
I have the 9KG model and it’s been great for the past 6 months either I’m a lucky one or the other commenters are talking out their extra large porthol
We just bought one and it is rubbish. About to go back for a return.

The interface is horrible so simply turning it on is not very easy (at least for us, checked the whole manual and it says you should tap the start button x2 but it requires x4 on our machine for some reason, need to confirm easy iron and save mode apparently)

Also, check the reviews of the app for the one touch function. 1 star on apple and 2 star on android. Couldn't get our working, it goes pass the registration but not onto the wizard to help connect to the tumble dryer.

When it does work then it is pretty good.
Tumbler dryers aren't built to last. If you buy this... Buy extended warranty.
What is the difference between Hoover and Candy? Also Domestic and general I'm sure are the same company.

D&G just replaced our old hoover drier with a candy one. It was an okay service apart from they expected my 62 year old mother to install the built in drier! Rediculouse, she was paying £12 a month for 13 years on that insured drier and they wouldn't pony up to install the new one!

You literally just plug it in? I'm sure she has someone local she can rely on for help? I'm sure the delivery driver would've helped for a cuppa...
My hotpoint vented tumble dryer still going strong 22 years on!!
Ours has been great 3 kids used every day night always on . Had over a year no problems.

Exactly, they used to be quality but now make tat. White goods, go Bosch/Siemens, Miele if you can afford it and are young enough to make the most of the long service life

It wouldn't have bothered me as much if they unpacked it and it was literally the case of just plugging it in. It's a vented drier with cabling required to be routed behind the washer then above the grantit top. An easy job for me yes, but thats not the point.

When you insure something it was my understanding if it breaks then they do all the work to have it working again. Guess I'm wrong.

I believe it states in the T&C's that it doesn't cover installation

Wow, so she has actually paid £1872 to keep an ancient appliance insured for 10 years. With that money she could have purchased a brand new one almost on an annual basis. These extended insurance providers are shysters, mainly preying on the vulnerability of a segment of the population.

Well they are partly right
Hotpoint, indesit, Maytag, Whirlpool and others are all owned by Whirlpool,
Hoover also used to be owned by them 10yrs ago before it was sold off.

Candy are a different company
