Hoover Hurricane VR81HU01 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner only £30 @ Homebase. Use the 15% off voucher to bring it down to £25.50.

These are £249.99 on Amazon, and £149.99 on the Hoover website! This is by far the best deal on a brand new Hoover I've ever seen! They had 4 left in my local Homebase in Preston. Not sure about other stores.

This is the price on the Official Hoover website! You can see the difference!

Incredible
Homebase,just *uck*f*
Unable to reserve! Frustrating, heat from me though if they are in your local store
Great price but sadly none available anywhere near me
Good find. Great price.
Voted hot. Love OOVER. Hate OMEBASE
Sounds cheap. But I think the other prices are more than what they’re worth. Argos on Ebay is £60 brand new so this is definitely a lot cheaper but may not be worth £250
£79.00 at ao.com, but still a great deal.
Yeah can be found for £60ish and hasn't got great reviews.

How many times has that been said
This is a pet hoover.

On official Hoover website it states this model VR81HU01 is a pets hoover, whereas the homebase website has left this out from title but has mentioned it in the description.

was one near me but its heavy as hell
Don't rely on the store stock check because they don't update it. Took me 2 hours in xmas traffic to do a 40 min journey only to find that my store did not have 3 of the item i required as stated but in fact only had 1 ex display. And then the lad had to go looking for it.
Great deal, says 2 in stock locally, might go out and see in the morning
6 in barnstaple
7 in Chepstow. Nothing in Newport or Cardiff
2 in Altrincham. 10 mile drive. Can't be bothered! If it was more local I'd definitely buy one though

Unfortunately there was 4 on Xmas Eve at Kingsway. I bought one, utter crap, weighs a ton and if it's really for pets, I guess it's only useful if you have a pet hedgehog, as it can't pick up and of our labs hair.
Why buy it if the weight is a problem ? It wasn't going to get lighter once you got it home
I have one of these in same colour, it cleans great, its very powerful and the hose is just about long enough to do my stairs whilst leaving the hoover at the bottom of the stairs. The turbo tool works good aswell. I bought mine from "direct vacuums" ebay store for about 40 quid. They are a fantastic place to buy from and have loads of decent vacs heavily discounted, fast delivery too.

Refurbished or not, they appear brand new. I also bought another hoover hurricane previously from them, it was lime green and silver, it was just as good but i foolishly gave it to a neighbour. Why anyone buys dysons and henrys is beyond me. Dysons are always in skips and tips, and henrys arent as good as a 40 quid wet and dry shop vac from screwfix or ebay.

Homebase dont update their online stock system very well. If u want this product i would advise to phone the store 1st. I got told store A had an item and store B didnt. Reality was the other way around!
looks poor. buy a dyson?

Sometimes you don't know until you try it out. Reading a weight on a website doesn't really tell you anything, you know unless it says something like 300Kg or 12mg.
I'd be cautious with the stock checker as Antrim said 4 in stock and there was only display model looking round the shelves I got myself a cordless black and decker hoover for £50 down from £119 in Argo or £189 on amazon so was still worth the trip

He bought it instore, not online, so could feel the weight before purchasing. Must have a hard life if the weight of a hoover is such a problem.

Carrying a box and all accessories is not the same as using the hoover in situ in all fairness. Plus, perhaps the individual is older, infirm or has mobility issues. Perhaps he does have a hard life. I wouldn't be jumping to judge cos he says it's heavy, but I'd be inclined to check the specs of my own vacuum against this if I was replacing it to see if it was appreciably heavier. Plus I think the weight was an additional criticism against his main gripe of poor performance at picking up pet hair.

I have an Alaskan Malamute and a Staffie cross. I can assure you this Hoover picks up the hair like a dream. The hose is more powerful than the Vac at any petrol station and the Turbo tool actually works and spins fast.
Maybe the carpet brush was set too high or it was blocked/needed emptying?
