As long as your "friend" is no more than 26.5 stone - they should be ok..... If not, buy two and split the load by having one foot on each.....

You can't reserve unfortunately, you just need to get there as quick as possibly, obviously in a safe manner and if you see anyone holding the last one, hit them over the head with a £2 spade Homebase are selling...

Thanks, phoned my local store and they put one by for me... I'll pick it up later. Thanks again Flubbermother.
Ridiculously good price. Paid double this, on offer in Screwfix.
I could have done with this in November, good deal.

Here's an idea: while you're there have a look around the whole store!
Bought similar for £15 a couple of years ago. They are surprisingly handy when decorating, putting up decorations, cutting hedges. I know with a lot of these deals you end up buying stuff you never use and it's a waste of money - these are genuinely useful. I could never go back to a wobbly chair now. I can't and I won't.
I can't speak for this particular model but every home should have one of these things. I don't know how I managed without one before I bought mine. So much more useful than a small step ladder.
Wish there was a homebase by me, being a shortie this would be handy
Were there any left in Wolverhampton?

No, I don't think so, but there is two left in Cannock according to their website. (I lied when I said I'd picked one up, my hubby did, I'm sat in a warm office eating all the Christmas chocolate leftovers)
Don't get carried away its only 500mm long, approx 20 inches - barely a platform.
Dont waste your time going to Southend states 14 stock actually got zero totak waste of time

Yeah not all things are labelled as reduced though
Goose and chase come to mind
I saw this in-store and was tempted to buy, but it doesn't fold away very good and is a little on the short side so left it. Still a bargain for those who don't need to worry about how it folds away or the size.
Does anyone know how high this lifts a person off the ground? Deck size isn't why I need a step up.
According to the website there's 11 in stock in Sevenoaks, when I picked one up this afternoon there were certainly 5 or 6 visible on the shelf. Pleased with it, it's light, seems sturdy and folds away neatly.
Don't believe their stock levels, they lie.
I bought one of these last week taking advantage of the then 15% discount voucher offer. I find it sturdy and secure to stand on and so well worth the money.
Great for bedside tables.
@deanpaulwalker get me one of these if you go?
Good deal this could come in handy
Thanx mother flubber

Picked mine up last night. Doesn't fold away quite as neatly as some of the others I've seen, but for the price who can complain about that? Seems sturdy and light enough and I'm sure it will get used for lots of jobs that don't quite call for a full step ladder. Toured the store while I was there and picked up a CO alarm with display for £7, a couple of inspection lamps and assorted washers, O-rings and screw sets. Was hoping to find some of the storage boxes, but couldn't find those.

We bought the CO alarm, four tier shelving, 2 x 5m solar powered rope lights, a rug, 3 roller paint brush sets, 30 bulbs, 2 x Christmas lights, 2 x brooms, a hedge trimmer, some other utterly useless paraphernalia and a small island, all thanks to this site 🙄 but they were all bargains so mustn't complain.
How high off the floor is the platform on these please? I could do with a decent step to help my dog getting into the boot of my car now he's getting on a bit.

Awww, I can't get you an answer before 5pm, but it's quite a small platform, not sure what size dog you have and whether this is any good, but I will measure it the minute I get home if no one else helps you in the meantime. Only because you're a fellow dog owner

Thank you. He's a Black Lab / Collie / German Shepherd, and getting on for about 40kg, so lifting him into the boot is starting to hurt my back!

Don't have mine to hand, but I would say that the platform was more than a foot off the ground, at a guess around 35-40cm?
