Did you see them on the news after their oap only session at Asda with 40 loo rolls each saying "well we're allowed 2 and I'm getting them for other old folk who can't get out"? Yeah, right. I'm all for making sure these people don't go without but good will is going to run out quickly if they carry on like that. Looks like as great deal for people that need one & shop sensibly. Might pick one up along with a Mrs Brown fancy dress costume & chance my arm if people don't stop taking the mickey. Couldn't even scrape together the ingredients for a chilli at Sainsbury's earlier

Just a shame cargo bikes aren't a bit cheaper, especially the electric ones. But you could probably fit more in a set of bike panniers than in this thing.

This is still great, can't ride a bike so it would be all manner of awkwardness to maneuver even if it can hold more in a bike!

I need "staff"...

Finding panniers over 50lt for a set is actually quite tricky - the ones I've got at the mo claim 100l, but I think it's pushing it a little.
I've actually wondered (and came here because of that) about using shopping trolleys as panniers - they seem a good match and could hopefully be easily adapted with some clips.

Shopping trolleys? You mean baskets? They're a bit big aren't they.

Regards using bikes, you could always buy a trailer. I moved house once using one of those metal ones that you can carry 100kg in. They're a bit cumbersome and heavy and you have to be a bit careful you don't clip things given their width but would be ideal for a short trip to do a big shop at a supermarket.

ACtually this image doesn't look right as it's not supposed to have that bit sticking out.

Trolley as in trolley of the sort in this deal... used as a pannier.
As it goes I've got a home made push bike trailer that at a push has taken about a quarter of a tonne - but it is definitely heavy and cumbersome - I'd just take my van if I wanted that much stuff (I use it for festivals etc where you can't drive around).
With normal panniers I've managed 50kg of shopping (was mostly coke zero when it was on offer) and plenty of volume - but I'd like a bit more and a more easily removable ones that can still easily fold flat. (Big ones I've got/had haven't been easily removable).
Came back to order and gone up £6
Has anyone received their order yet?
Yup, got mine about 3 days after ordering
