I have used the turbo button to spam "A" in Animal Crossing to craft a lot of fish bait lol.
These are really good and well worth £35. The joy cons give me really bad hand cramps after using for an hour or so. No such problem with these!
I use this. It’s brilliant

What do *you* use the programmable buttons for?

I haven’t, I don’t even know how to use them

Looks good. If the programmable buttons are anything like old PlayStation ones etc I used to use them for things like the run/sprint button without having to hold it down

Same here. I love them.
Box contains two joycon.

These can be used as independent joycon?

No. They have to be attached to the sides of the Switch to get power.

I figured!

Saying two joycon then seems a tad unfair(cheeky)

Does that mean they drain the battery a bit faster then?

Maybe a bit but it’s nothing major they don’t use a lot of power.

Program them to do stuff on games like Fortnite or doom for resources.
I'm guessing the shape of these means they won't fit in a standard switch case?

I'm trying not to, my son is pressing me to get him one for his birthday!!
Is there anything else like these controllers but with HD Rumble?
Damn. My joycon has a drift issue, I might go for this. Thanks OP

Worth getting for this alone

Grab a can of contact cleaner and look up guides online. You don't need to open the joycon just be extra careful with the little rubber seal under the joy stick it's easy broken so no pointy tweezers best. Done this method number times

As far as I am aware, only first party controllers have HD rumble (although many have basic rumble). This means if you want HD rumble you would have to stick with official Joy Cons.

Barely fits in my living room
Can't recommend enough, it's not the size which helps its the size of the buttons

Ditto.
Ordered, thanks. Should save my hands from cramp and my joycons from drift issues - already had to fix them once!

Repair kits cost less than a tenner on Amazon and come with all the tools you need - if contact cleaner doesn't work - Its a bit fiddly if you have large hands, but it isn't difficult to fix. Tonnes of guides on the Tube
The only thing that puts me off is the lack of gyro, since most games that use this feature assign it to the right joy-con rather than the tablet. I'd buy it otherwise.
I’d put off buying these but finally bit the bullet. I like the original joycons but they’re quite small and I mostly play handheld. Hope these are more comfortable for longer.

Much appreciated! Thank you both!

That's my boys 7th birthday sorted! If his hands are too small he'll have to work on stretching them! He reckons the buttons on his original ones don't fully work anymore or one of them at least and the price of the bleeders - this is a great solution!
Be careful this happened early on with my first pair.

My boy is 7 and he loves these just as good as an xb1 pad.
How much are these normally?
Bought. Heat.
Would buy but I would miss HD rumble feature
