sorted byWithin the first week there will be a 10GB patch you need to download anyway. You can't have a data cap and a games console. Game updates are constant and huge nowadays.
I like the white colour of the PS5 version
You have to download the entirety of the PS5 version, rather than being able to install from the disc.
That's a extreme minority in the UK.
If you can spend £50 on a PS5 game, I'm sure you can manage money to afford a internet package with no data cap, at about £20 PM 🤷
Heck I've even got unlimited phone data for £12 PM on 4g and 5g when available if someone's really desperate. (edited)
Collectors also want to have the physical PS5 version
No need to download the entire game, which for many people isn't particularly feasible, or is at least inconvenient. (edited)
I have a ps5 and would rather have the game in the ps5 box. Maybe box snobbery , but my decision (edited)
this is incorrect no matter if you get it digital or via disc the game is fully downloaded to the SD or hard rive the DISC is only read to check the security key that allows the game to run when u download it digitally this key is also downloaded which is why there is no need for the disc -
Personally I'd just ask nicely at game or somewhere if I could have the display sleeve instead and pop a quid In their charity pool 🤷
And yet nothing a little foresight can't solve, my internet in the sticks is like a see-saw, so I just set things to download through the app either overnight or to start first thing in the morning, and it's all good for the early afternoon, absolute worst case scenario. (edited)

Yes, but you can install from the disc, rather than downloading.
Oddly enough I actually respect that more than the data cap excuse
I dunno man, this game defenitly needs some patching in the performance department.

Sonys shady marketing tactics for this game, like not mentioning upgrades in the description until last minute, and not showing the PS4 version on the PS5 store.
Because then you only need 1 disc and the entire game is on that disc, rather than having to download the 98GB with the other version and still having 2 discs.
It's already been more than a week since launch and there haven't been any 10 GB patches, this isn't Call of Duty. Even if there was, that's still a lot different from having to download the entire 98 GB game, and you'd have to repeat that process if you ever uninstall it and want to play again. It's fine if your internet is 500+ Mbps, but most people don't have even a quarter of that speed and would rather not wait hours before they can play.
On the bright side, the PS4 version will go down in price quicker (since apparently no one wants to buy it) so the smarter people like us can capitalise on it

All the more important to minimise other downloads - but you don't necessarily *need* to download updates in most cases.
Where are you getting unlimited data for £12 a month?I'm £24 with Three.
EE, I've got it locked in for another 10 months, managed to work the deal out on my renewal by playing them off against ID mobile.
It took a few phone calls to get and calling their bluff a couple of times when they insisted they couldn't go lower ,but they did.
Always speak to people, instead of relying on what's there and taking it for face value. (edited)

Ohhhh that GAME pricing error from not too long ago, so gutted I missed out on that
I generally don't buy games full price, preorder, or on day of release but I made an exception for Horizon.

I don't think that PS5 version will ever more expensive(by £9) than PS4 version.
PS4 is to 2 gen version( PS4 and PS5)
While PS5 version is only One consol version(PS5).
They hardly exist anymore. The vast, vast majority of internet providers in the UK are now uncapped.
