It's not the disc that would be the problem with progress, it's that it's the US version.

I have been told 10% price change would warrant a new post and this is 25% drop. So, if it was £3.59 I would've given you a nudge like I always do. Hope you can contact Mods and report.

I don’t know what the rules amount to either way, was just surprised to see it being expired with a new post being created a couple of hours or so further down the line. Haven’t and won’t be reporting anything though, it is what it is, otherwise too busy keeping the nations’ heads above water..

Never new that rule existed. It's about time. I remember the days of SSD's changing by 2p and everybody following over themselves to repost them.

I din't exactly know what the rules. I reported many deals but was given different replies. So, just ignoring all the rules and posted this deal as it's worth a new post with simple sense.
Had to bite at this price. Now just waiting for God of War to get to £3.50

Different rules which I don't either understand but I think this is worth a new post for sure. and you know it's a great and fair deal.

I voted hot for this deal as it's definitely a brilliant price. No doubt about that. But I do see it all the time lol. Like you said slightly changes price

Paid £4-5.00 odd on a simillar deal a while back and put about a hundred hours into it at this point. Highly recomended.

Does it matter? I also sold my horizon CD copy. But progress file is in my library. Why would it not work?
Sorry to be one of those people, I've had a Google and I'm still struggling with how to make this work.

I've got a PS4 with my account (UK), my partner has an account (UK) and I buy games online with my card... How do I get this/use it for my partner to play on her account? It seems fairly clear that I need to get credit for a US account as my card is registered in the UK? From there on, I'm bloody lost.

Dan, are you using the same PS4 console or does your partner have a different one?

You don't need any US credit for this particular purchase as they just send you a redeemable code. If you're asking in terms of buying for future games you can just buy US PSN $ from places like amazon or indeed CD keys!

Same one.

Oh, so I just buy this with PayPal/Credit/Debit Card and then redeem the code on my PS4 but with the region set to US? Thanks for the info, I *hate* being clueless, but it had to happen sooner or later! Thanks again.

We're all clueless until someone helps us learn right? ;-)

Yes - you can just buy it from cdkeys in pound sterling via paypal.

You almost had it in terms of what you need to do, here's what's what:

1. On your PS4, sign out of playstation store/your/your partners account
2. Then on signing in - create a new (presumably 3rd?) profile. When signing up obviously you need to set region as USA. Note you must create the psn store account as part of this process so don't 'skip' that part on the next page.
3. When signing up you must make sure you use a valid American zip/postcode which I recommend to be in Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, Oregon or Alaska as they are the states with no sales tax (sales tax won't make a difference to this purchase but will do down the line if you choose to purchase direct from USA PSN store). Note - you can use a hotel's address or something like that - it doesn't want an exact address, it fills in the blanks from the zip code. Make sure you use a DOB that is 18+ of course.
4. Ensure that the email address you use is a valid email address that a) isn't already linked to a PSN account and b) you own and have access to, as you will have to verify it via email to activate the profile.

Obviously verify the profile etc and I think that's about it!

What you then do is redeem the CD keys code on your USA profile and download the game. After that - you can play the game on all of your profiles! job done. You don't need to ever sign in to your USA profile again if you only want to play this game!

In future, if you wish to purchase games from the USA PSN store (as they have different sales to us) you can top up your USA account in dollars by purchasing the online codes/cards, as I said earlier from Amazon/CD Keys and the like.

Notes; Name, DOB, username etc don't need to be your real details.

Give me a shout if you need any further help.

Thanks, I *really* appreciate you taking the time to write all of that out, it's always easier than a video and makes complete sense - My partner will be super happy to get this (especially if lockdown lasts long!) and I'll have another interesting game to watch (she's currently playing Spidey [almost finished] while I watch, I'm playing Red Dead 2 while she watches and we've just started playing Divinity 2 together).

My pleasure buddy. If there's one thing to come out of the situation we're all in is that I hope it reminds people to help others wherever they can!

Have fun playing the game. You're super lucky your GF rolls like that, I can only get away with playing when mine goes to bed at about 22:30!

Yeah, I'm really hoping it's a tipping point for people to realise what matters.

Haha thanks, she's always been into Zelda and after buying her a Switch (for BotW) she gave Mario Kart a go, followed by Mario vs Rabids... Then I got a PS4 and got her into Borderlands, she's a Marvel fan (especially Spidey) and although it was a tough learning curve for her, she's pretty damn good at it now! Depending on what yours gf is like, I'd suggest going down the Switch route and finding something that interests her (it seems to be more user-friendly, especially for newer gamers), best of luck!

Taking so long meant the price went up to £5, but still a bloody good deal and now I know it's actually easy to get things on there I'm set for the future, thanks again!

Unfortunately she's not a gamer at all so no dice on that mate. More interested in watching rubbish singing competitions involving 4 judges

£5 is the highest horizon has been for ages. Give it a few days and it will be back down under £4 I imagine.
