Whilst browsing for secret Santa gifts I noticed that Hawkins bazaar have a good deal if you are in the market for a train set this Christmas.

Good price on some other train sets and Scalextric sets as well. Seems to be a genuine discount and sale.

4% cash back through quidco too.

Hope this helps someone

although I guess it's not DCC it is a complete set with track and transformer so is a good price for a modern set - good find!

Devastating reviews but it gets tons of heat - HUKD strikes again!
To be fair a lot of the bad reviews are from adults who are used to models with more detail etc. I believe these sets are aimed more at the younger audience.

I'm not saying it's a good set or that it's good value but it seems to be adults that are doing the complaining and mostly based on aspects only an adult would be so critical of.

There's a brigade of men with trains in their loft that have a bee in their bonnet about these entry level sets and are determined to let the world know about it.

Can it be set to a very slow crawling pace on the controller?

Can it be set to a very slow crawling pace on the controller?

Yes, why? Are you trying to make it as slow as our real life trains?

Average of 3.6 out of 5 stars is not devastating.. 1/5 is.
