Spotted this deal on the Woolworths Web site yesterday, currently unavailable from the website. The price in store is still marked at £79.99, but you pay the sale price at the checkout.

This set appears to be an exclusive for Woolworths so you won't find it anywhere else. The price seems very good.

Set includes

# Lowmac and Load
# Ore Wagon
# 4-Wheel Coach
# 12 Ton Vent Van
# Trackside Accessories
# Basic oval track and Track Pack A (1575mm x 1143mm)
# Buffer stop
# Wall mounted power unit for operation from AC mains 220-224V AC 50hz

Went to another Woolworths this evening and noticed they had this set marked with a sale ticket at £39.99.

£10 Accessories
£27 Controller and Power

That might help someone make a decision

I labelled the post with instore only for that very reason, I'm not sure they will ever get stock on the web site, but I know that a few of my local stores still have stock but they are selling quickly, I expect its the same all over the country.

No problem - I clicked expired on it after checking the deal on the website. With the amount of deals that have been posted on here recently, I don't have time to read every single post, so I usually rely on member's comments such as the one above - then check the website, then click expired, which is what I have done in this case.

Sorry, I didn't notice the "in-store" tag - we don't get many in-store only deals posted and my brain doesn't know what to do with them.

If it was any other store that would be a very logical move. Woolworths on the other hand always seem to do this, they must like to be different. They often have stock in store and nothing available online, shame they don't let you reserve an item like Argos etc
