“In honour of National Curry Week, the #QuidCurryClub is popping up in Shoreditch serving up one pound curries for one day only. Best-selling author of One Pound Meals Miguel Barclay will be serving up £1 portions of chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and Thai green curry made using leftovers and kitchen cupboard ingredients. As well popping in for a bargain lunch, you’ll also be able to pick up some tips on how to reduce your food waste and save money on your weekly shop. Each lunch will consist of a curry, poppadums, dips and a soft drink, so just turn up with quid in hand to enjoy.”

Why not hand the meals out to the rough sleepers and homeless people for free ?

You can actually reheat most foods several times, including chicken. Just need to make sure it’s properly stored,
refrigerated, and reheated - they did some tests on BBC a few years ago. The only food I’m aware of that is dangerous after a day or so is leftover rice!

You'd better never eat from a takeaway or restaurant then because all curries use reheated, pre-cooked meat. Nothing is cooked fresh ... well, apart from tandoori. Also, you're wrong.
