My first post, so please be gentle.
This is a great 5.1 home cinema system just found on the comet site, also availabke in argos for £150, this is £3.41 cheaper!
Great for PS3, SKYHD, ETC.
Produces DTS sound.
Here's the spec:

o HDMI connections: 1
o DTS Digital Surround Sound: Yes
o Number of discs: 1
o Dolby Digital: 5.1

More info on the site.

Thanks!

Welcome! Seems a good deal to me. I'm after a home cinema system and will look into this one.

Is this any good? Will it match my TX-P50U10B that I got from JL in the sales?

**DOES NOT PLAY DTS FROM OPTICAL INPUT, ONLY FROM DVD. WILL DECODE DOLBY THOUGH. **

Sees like a bargain for something that'll decode and output 5.1 from Optical. If it does what it says on the tin, it's one heck of a deal for a cheap surround rig for gamers and while it's not going to give the level of audio quality a good separate system would, 5.1 out for less than £150 is nice.

EDIT: A few decent reviews here: amazon.co.uk/pro…s=1

READ THIS FOR THE LIMITATIONS OF THIS SETUP: avforums.com/for…tml

Panasonic All-in-ones DON'T do DTS over the optical input, only from the … Panasonic All-in-ones DON'T do DTS over the optical input, only from the built-in-DVD player.Page 9 of the manual says 'Only Dolby Digital & PCM can be played with this connection'.You can connect your Blu-Ray player to it, but you'll only get Stereo for films that only have a DTS soundtrack.Fox & Universal seem to favour DTS on their stuff, so will mainly be DTS only. Disney/Warner/Sony do a combination or DTS & Dolby.

I like the look of this...not in a position to buy, but a good deal and I vote HOT

V.good system but not great deal, does not seem to have ipod dock and output is only 330 RMS, probably this one is better

I have this system and it is an ideal entry level surround setup.
My review is on AV Forums] here:

Note it is NOT multiregion out the box. I couldn't find a remote code, but I got an unlocking remote from ebay for £10 which did the job.

****Don't forget TopCashback/Quidco as well!****
