Hottest thing I've eaten in a long time !

Best thing is the wife can't talk now after it

Google Translate from a Portugese website: celsoannes.com.br/?ta…idl

"The pizza is by no means bad, but it is spicy in a way that I could never imagine, there is no beer or soda to put out the fire that occurs inside your mouth.

I can say I know what is the taste of Hell."

My apologies to your wife but your comment was quite funny X)

Just had to fetch her a bucket sized mug of squash (she hates milk !)

Saw plenty in the Aberstwyth branch, but didn't pick one up so can't comment on quality. Can't be that bad though I guess.

I saw these on offer today, but refrained because of a diet. But they are fit!! very hot and spicy. Remember to buy gallons of milk. literally heat added.

These have been around for a while. Very nice if you like hot foods. I pick up a couple every time I go there. The price never seems to go above £1.30 and this is about as cheap as they get. I tend to add some sweetcorn or pineapple to balance out the heat... Delicious.

are these frozen?

Its spicy but no where near being classed as hot.

take it's the korma brigades new "you have to try this hot food"

great price for the pizza though.

I love hot food, but it always leaves me with an bum like a fresh bullet wound...

The quote in the OP appears to be from a Brazilian living in Dublin... in my experience, food in places like Argentina and southern Brazil isn't generally spicy at all so people aren't used to it.

I haven't seen this in my local Lidl but I'll keep an eye open... looks like a good price.

Do the chillies count towards your 5 a day?

Do the chillies count towards your 5 a day?

Yep, chillies are a fruit so count if you eat a handful of them. Probably also help you loose weight by raising your metabolism.

I'm going to go and get one of these today and try them. I eat all my food hot and add tabasco or chilli to most meals so we'll see just how hot these things are.

These are the pizza Alfredo ones, they're about as hot as a Madras :-))...just right for me, probably the hottest of the supermarket pizzas around IMHO. really nice, so ...er...have some HEAT

been getting these for the last week now, just a pizza with a handful of chillis thrown onto it.

its ok, might be hot for some of the local natives who think a indian curry take away is hot.

Stick your bogroll in the freezer if youre planning on eating one of these. They are ****-bustingly hot

Heat from me

Is your avatar showing what happens after eating one?

I'm always sceptical about things advertised as being hot. Supermarket stuff almost never gets hotter than Jalapeños, even vindaloos are usually comparatively mild.

How does this compare to Stagg Dynamite hot chilli (the only genuinely hot food I've found at supermarkets).?

They are not very hot, I normally order a phall in restaurants and for me they barely register. For my korma-loving wimp of a wife they are pretty hot though :).

I agree about bland supermarket food. Sainsburys have recently brought out a Phal curry which claims to be "fiery". It is actually pathetic, and no hotter than a jalfrezi from an indian restaurant. In response to the Stagg chilli info, I recently tried a Nandos BBQ sauce in a jar that claimed to be mild. I added some pineapple and normal red peppers and it was very hot. So hot in fact my Mrs and the kids wouldnt eat it. My nose was running and bear in mind that I normally have 5 or 6 extra Birds Eye Chillis added to my curries when I eat out this was definately not mild. Nice sauce though....almost a bit sweet and sour with the pineaplle and peppers.

People around me can always tell when I eat something that's genuinely hot rather than just slightly spicy because I without fail get the hiccups. It's really annoying (I'd imagine for the people around me too).

trust me this will take the mouth off you..its nice pizza but hotter than madras sauce if thats any indication!

I used to eat really spicy food, but this thing is up there with the best of them. When it said inferno i thought it was going to be hot like a supermarket curry, but nope it was nose running, throat torching hot.

In fact it was so spicy that i didn't really enjoy it, didn't stop me buying more of them though.

These are hot. The hottest supermarket frozen pizza I've had at least. I suggest a glass of milk and to make sure the chillies are evenly distributed before tucking in.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

They are always 99p at some time or another as I get them regularly.

Wouldn't go OTT and say they're blindingly hot, just pleasantly hot for a pizza.

Have managed to convert my friend to eat them from Sainsburys though, so Lidils FTW!

These are alright, nicely spicy I'd say but certainly not hot. Depends what you are used to though, I've destroyed my tastebuds through smoking and eating chillies

HEAT ADDED

Clearly haven't tried a
Flaming scotsman pizza ;-p

I've always loved spicy food, but my body doesn't seem to be able to tolerate it anymore. Put it one way, I know why Johnny Cash made that record, "Ring of Fire", still, might have to give this one a whirl!!!

Had one yesterday and I could'n eat it all is not HOT is the HOTTEST meal I ever had ...:( had a bottle of still water with...

Should have yoghurt instead, milk or water seem to just make it hotter and worse. Haven't tried this pizza, but meant hot food in general :P. Heat added

Sound worth a punt!

Well I went and bought one, was quite nice and tbh was quite hot but more a hot in your mouth rather than a hot in your stomach. Was nice though.

This should come with a health warning! I thought I was Ok with hot food, managed two slices, then thought i was going to throw up, its not in the bin and thats where it belongs...

your defo all wimps, just polished off one tonight on the back of this thread.
Was tempted to buy a piece of 'moose' they also have for sale too, Im going to have to work my way across their deluxe range this xmas.

While im at it I must recomend the Beaujolais AOC primeur for £4.99 on offer very good.
