What kind of warranty do you get through Costco?

just been trying to find out for you but couldn't seem to find anything. sent a question to an existing customer though so when they get back to me will let you know. Really tempted to get this as been wanting one for a while
It’s a bit of a bargain when compared to other hot tubs. Saw something around £2500 last year but wasn’t a mainstream supplier. Would trust Costco though.
we recently moved to a house with a hot tub and its been very expensive to run.

I’m not sure it should cost as much as it does. I may try insulating ours a bit more. We are also very exposed to the elements and it was winter!! I will get it cleaned up and back on soon I think to give it another try.

The lid is most important thing. No holes and fully covering tub.

Yes I’ve read that. Our lid looks good from what I can tell.

Make sure filters are clean including the walls of the tub. Ideally you want some covering over and around it so the wind and cold weather stop water from getting cold so the heater doesn't keep kicking in.
Do I have to add VAT onto this price do you know?

Older tubs are, solar panels can help keep costs down
Is this a robust enough model to be used to build a hot tub time machine

Yes but doesn’t come with the time travel ingredients so just bare that in mind. Heard that they come separately

Solar panels generate electricity and therefore whilst it’s generating electric you aren’t paying for it. If you had the battery storage as well it would mean you can use some of the electric in the evening when the panels are generating it. Remember every time it runs a filtration cycle/heating cycle it’s heating the water. If your cover etc is damaged consider replacing it as generating heat means using electric.

Battery storage is a cost effective solution obviously. Repayment term is more than the life of the battery’s.

Based on today’s prices yes, remember with electric cars increasing demand and falling capacity to generate more electricity prices will only increase over the next 10 years. I remember roughly 12 years ago paying 5p kWh for electric it’s now about 16p kWh, I’d expect it to hit 25-30p kwh over the next 10-15 years so current repayment term calculators are too conservative.

The prices have decreased a lot since then. My quote for a large detached 4 bed house was 7.5k 4kw system including batteries. Anyway if you don’t want solar panels, don’t want to pay the electric then don’t have a tub. Comment is only useless to you as you clearly either went to a rip off firm (always get multiple quotes) or have a mansion in which case they could save you loads.

You should get a hottub and did you know they are great places to eat toast, just take your toaster in with you.... I'll even pay for the loaf of bread if you do..

Guess we will really only know that if someone had posted the answer before you had asked the question....
In the long run it's a lot cheaper to have sex in the bath. Surely nobody needs a dedicated sex pond?
