I stayed at the Holiday Village (I have 3 kids so all inclusive was handy) but dear oh dear that particular holiday village was not good, However when we went down to the local town of Sarigerme, It was really nice, The locals were pleasant and the food was really good.

I was in Hisaronu last weekend and everywhere was closing down for the winter. I can't see it being every warm in November?

Hi Stacey great deal anything around for the week before ?

I will keep my eyes peeled over the weekend x

went to icemelar, wouldn't go back they have ruined themselves with greed

I've been to Alanya, I loved it. That was 2002, mind, and I was 12, so the fake Pokemon cards and Gameboy games may have brought the holiday to a higher standard than it should be.

Still, £180 for a week's all inclusive holiday... you can't really argue with that.

Went to Turkey in 1987 and everyone had the turkey trots for 2 weeks, swore never to go back. Returned in 2010, same again. If you want to lose weight by spending half your holiday on the toilet then go there.I would never ever go there even if they paid me. There is something seriously wrong with the hygiene standards in this country, buyer beware!!!!

Is there any other airports you could fly from or just gatwick thanks

Been to Turkey Bodrum 4 times usually the 1st week in September when the kids are back at school and theirs 1000's their its like the main weeks buy going in November is a definite No No all the place shuts down all the staff go home and the weather is not good. Theirs really no nice way to say it but this is a poor deal, who wants to go on a holiday wheres theirs nothing to do the shops are shut and half the hotel is closed aswell. I went all inclusive one year in April to Lanzarote and it was the worst week of my life we were trapped in a place that was like a ghost town and the weather was very cold and the hotels entertainment was for 2 evenings as it was out of season. That was Lanzarote which is a Canary island and should of been warm with everywhere open or so we were to believe. Turkey is well known for pretty bad weather over winter which is why most places shut and all the staff go back to their homes 1000's of miles away as theirs no tourists.

The worst part is as anyone read the news about the weather in November here because i suggest you do as you might not want to risk it at all thats if the flights go at all.

Calling a whole country a S#$t HOLE is an affirmation that only knowledge gods with huge experience and ground knowledge like you should dare to state. Thanks for enlightening us. Please keep making such interesting additions to this forum.

only word of advice I could give on this great deal, Turkey is outside the usual roaming agreements, as such O2 , Orange etc charge anywhere from £6 to £8 per Mb of data used, so switch off roaming and only use WiFi and have a great holiday without a surprise bill when you get home

polly69

Don't know about anyone else, but I don't travel 1000's of miles to go bloody shopping, I can go into town for that (even though you nearly get hassled as much by the sky tv guy, as you do by the Turkish shopkeepers).

Lying by a pool drinking cocktails and doing shock-all for two weeks is my thing. (if there is no sun though, its no go, got to get that nice tan!)

Horses for courses, and each to their own though.

I wouldn't worry too much about the weather here every year they come up with a doomsday scenario. Originally they were saying the cold snap was to start from mid October and now they are forecasting 17 degrees for this weekend and 10 to 12 degrees for the start of November. You are spot on about Turkey though in November it will be cold and closed down. Much better paying around 300 for a weeks AI in the canaries.

Thats fine for some but sitting by the pool all day everyday is boring and i don't go 1000's miles to sit by a pool the whole idea of a holiday is to experience the culture and explore theirs always time for the pool and what do you do at 5pm when its dark you cant sit their then and with nowhere open you cant go out anywhere because its all closed.

Stacey you're a star! I wish i knew how to find deals like this! Thank you so much for sharing.

Im going on holiday on Tuesday all inclusive. I plan on sitting eating shed load and doing absolutely nothing at all - a little break from my two jobs and holiday hunting just what I need to build the energy levels back up

Cold, not £42 or 14 nights

Nice deal for the Sink Estate dwellers. Its only fair they get a Holiday too.......At least I know they are only using a small percentage of my tax money on a holiday.

Turkey is a primitive country that is never going to get my money.

You do out up some amazing deals. Thank you. Any thing cheap, cheerful and warm from London airports. Dates 28th late eve or 29th for 6 days??

£211pp when 2 adults (pre-fees).

This is bargain. I bought return flight tickets for £180

Who's crazy enough to go at that time of year. Its dead and cold.Might as well stay at home.Would never go unless it's between June or September. Yeah it's costs more but it's the weather you go for.

Quiet a few newbie moderators deleting my messages on this topic,

Don`t waste your monies in Turkey. I rather go to Tamanrasset as its probably cleaner and nicer there.

You mean you don't own Turkey? I'd have thought you'd have at least laid claim to one country by now ;).

Absolute divvy.

What you wrote makes no sense? Is there any kind of context to your gibberish or are drunk/high?
