No but 'Hot Wheels' are and as it's a product name the correct spelling is indeed 'Color'

I know, but other companies which sell hot wheels at least have 'proper English' spelling.

Damn those pesky yanks X)

Yes but technically they have got it wrong because as I said it is a product name, they can spell it any way they like eg. Kolour. It's like any name for a person, object, event..... If the owner chooses to spell it incorrectly then it is still the spelling to which it should be refered.

I'm not saying they have it right or wrong, they're(amazon.uk) selling to the UK and (quite rightly) have spelt it in English.

Like Tesco should.

PS, i know 'hot wheels' is American.

I think £4 is the best I have seen for this. This set was in the January sale at Wilkinsons for a fiver I think. It's a big box and makes an impressive present.

The product name is actually Hot Wheels® Color Shifters™ Stunt ’N Dunk™ Action Set and the vendor should really sell the item with the correct name as deemed by the company that produced it. The vendor's description of the product can then deviate and use the language/spelling of the intended audience.

It's exactly the same as how you used the word Cozy instead of Cosy in the deal you posted this morning - hotukdeals.com/dea…154 but that one must have slipped by you. (_;)

You got me, however it was just a quick copy and paste.

Why don't you have a bigger look through my deal history, to see if there are any other mistakes?

You obviously have plenty of time on your hands X)

No not at all. I've no more time than you have to go around trying to pull people up on non-existent grammatical inaccuracies. It's just that Baz8755 was correct in his stance and for whatever reason you thought he was wrong which made you a hypocrite following your earlier post. Grammar police fail.

Amusing thread.

Hang on a minute, when have i tried to pull people up on ' non-existent grammatical inaccuracies'
if you look, i put the first comment on this thread and i also stated weather he(baz) was right or wrong, that i felt that Tesco should of done what other UK based companies/sites have done and spelt colour in English.

If anybody was 'policing', then surely it would be you looking in my deal history. Lets face it, thats pretty sad.

Sad for you that it showed you up as a hypocrite. As you say - I got you. Ultimately it doesn't matter if vendors choose to anglify the product name or description because the box/packaging will always have the original wording on it. Your point is flawed - you just fail to see it and that really is sad. (_;)

No mate, you're just sad for looking through deal history, period.

i know the box/packaging will have the original wording on it, i've never said different. Seems you're fighting an argument that isn't there.

How can my points be flawed, when its my opinion? In addition other companies have done what i said should be done. So to coin your tacky saying, you fail.

Have fun sitting on your PC all day. X)

These trinket sellers are clearly friends of the colonial savages, we must suppress them at any cost.

“other companies have done what i said should be done” – you really think so? Go to Amazon UK (the company you mention) and search for “Hot Wheels Colour” and see what comes back. Number one in the list is “Hot Wheels Color Shifters Dr Bones Color Lab” which is actually sold directly by Amazon UK (I know – would you believe it – they are blatantly using the word “Color”!). I can’t see how this is in any way shows how they are doing exactly what you said should be done. They so completely disagree with your point that they even use the word “Color” twice in the title – brilliant. I’m sure if you look hard enough you’ll find an example that fits your opinion but your first choice was Amazon UK which wasn’t a great choice as that search proves. So that’s Tesco and Amazon UK who don’t do as you say – it’s a conspiracy obviously.

You assume that I sit for fun at my pc all day, which clearly I don't, but we can all actually see that you posted (#11) at nearly midnight on a Saturday night. That is probably pretty much up there on the scale of "sad" to most people I should imagine but if you feel the need to surf the web in the late hours on a weekend to “have fun” (as you call it) then you go for it.

By the way, if you ask someone to take a look through your deals and you then later comment that this is a sad thing to do - that makes you two-faced. I didn’t need to browse through your deals because I only had to click on your user name to see your profile and your list of deals was right there on the screen – it really was that quick and easy to prove that you are a hypocrite. In case you’re a little out of touch with social networking type facilities, profile pages are there for other people to look at. Your profile page helps a person find out a bit more about you – like if you are a hypocrite for instance.

Anyway I'm guessing it’s probably about time to move on from this because nothing you’ve said has really made much sense and we clearly agree to disagree and you seem fairly capable of managing to disagree with yourself. Just because they are your points and your opinion doesn’t mean they can’t be flawed – they are – you just don’t like being told it. Hypocrites are generally like that so it’s to be expected.

Please reply – you’re hilarious.

I will reply to you if it cheers you up, because you seem like a very angry person. I put light hearted comment on the begining of this thread and you turn it into a party politcal broadcast. For god sake mate lighten up, everything doesn't have to be cofrontational.

i can't even be bothered to reply in full.
