Be warned.... by purchasing from this company you have to provide an email address. If you then decide to unsubscribe to stop being bombarded by emails from them you will notice it has no effect. Ten times or more i have tried to be removed from there email list and i have complained by telephone about this. The emails are still arriving......be warned.

Thanks OP. Now just the gamble or whether they will drop to 70% off or whether they sell out first
I was thinking exactly the same!

Why you being a dafty? If you're daft enough to give them your email address then you deserve all the spam mail you're gonna get from them. Just make one up whenever you're buying somthing. Common sense. It's bewildering how stupid people are these days.

I think common sense would be more, just mark the email as spam, then you wouldn't even know when you receive emails from them. Gmail accounts remove you from the subscription when you mark emails as spam. Making up a fake email account could cause problems if you dont receive your correct order, or there's a mistake, and you have no confirmation email to prove otherwise.
And £4.95 delivery too unless I'm missing something?!
FFS. Got through to order page, entering card details and clicked submit. Only to get an error stating one item of my basket is now OOS. Did not stop them pre-authorising the money on my card though.

Once the GDPR comes in you'll be quids in, then.
I’d rather have a snickers or a Cadbury picnic, cheap and cheerful

Purchased something from them a couple of years ago and have not experienced this issue.

Use Unroll.me to block them or roll them up into one combined email with others. Fab app.

Same, nearly all eggs out of stock now- the power of hukd right there
Delivery knocks out any saving and can't collect from store (for free) even though it says you can.Meh i enjoyed the one i had today
Going to pop in the shop tomorrow
Everything good sold out already, either they sold a lot of stock full price or they didn't stock a lot this year
I go in the shop after Easter every year and the prices then seem reasonable

I don't have a problem with the emails but stopping the paper catalogue is a bigger battle.

I was getting 4 lots of their letter box drops as they had two addresses for me and my partner. I emailed as it felt like i was getting stuff every week. To their credit they did reply, apologised and took me off their mailing list. Haven't ordered anything from them since as i know i'll be back on the mailing list again
Going to get to store at 10 tomorrow in the hope of some savings....
Would have ordered but the fact that they block the option to click and collect from store, means that any discount you get on the product is added by unnecessary delivery charges
Very sweet sugary chocolate. Unbelievably Cadbury is more sophisticated.
Bull Ring store has loads on the shelf, 23 minutes to opening...

1. Add sender to spam list to stop them arriving in your inbox.

2. Report them to the ICO. Enough complaints and they get an investigation which can lead to a hefty fine.
ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/spam-emails/

3. Sit back, relax and munch your remaining easter eggs.

Went to store and got "all our eggs in one basket" for £27.50 and a load of others. No Ostrich eggs though as got there 15 mins after opening.
Oh, and anyone suggesting Thorntons (or even the non-uk nasty new recipe Cadburys) is better that HC needs a new set of taste buds.

Not really! The fines the companies get as a result of an audit doesn't get distributed to customers you know

Actually there's quite a lot of suggestion that GDPR will give rise to a new class of ambulance chasing lawyers willing to represent people / a class of people to claim personal damages for breaches.
