Yes it comes in the original box. Expect some light damage to the box, but the product appears to be brand new.

It's a luxury item, nobody is saying you have to have one to make a hot chocolate but if you want the simplest and best way of making one due to the whisking mechanism then this is the way to go. Certainly not for everyone, as again its a luxury

Mine didn't arrive in the original box and was heavily scratched and well used sending it back. Not in excellent refurb condition as described!
