There are loads in Paris..sime amazing deals..suddenly you aren't too busy working. And I lied..i didn't even search.

Anything you search doesn't have any discount on. If they're not on the page you're diverted too don't bother searching

Tempted by the one in Croydon, rooms from £899.10. Decided not to book as it's room only and I like breakfast. Have some heat for the others though.

De Vere hotels look very nice and most are on rolling landscape with acres of land, but if you go on promotion, they send you to cattle ranch. I went to one in Abingdon and the cattel ranch stank of cigarette smoke. When I asked to change rooms, a staff member told me. "Tomorrow the manager is going to have all the duvet and linen washed." You know what it meant?!

The whole room stank of cigarette smoke, the linen, the curtains.. a most disgusting stay. Another one near Capel Manor. My son had to shout, "Stop it, Stop it" as someone was doing acrobatics upstairs.. What a nightmare. But that was a decent room. Another one in Woking, the room had mould and two member of staff came with a canister to remove it..
