    For info i had a look at this the other day. You redeem the voucher on Buyagift own booking site (not directly with the provider), I found most of the prices inflated on their site including Travelodge so I ended getting a refund in the end.

    May work out better for others though.

    Thank you for the info. I won't buy it now, thought it too good to be true to just be a hotel gift card.

    I enquired about availability with a few hotels. D as soon as they knew you were using these sites they were all suddenly booked up and took a week to find out - very poor unless a specific hotel is mentioned - stayed in Brooklyn chain in Manchester and got a great deal midweek with 35% off buy a gift site code but weekends are out of question

    Do you earn hotel elite night credits if you use this voucher to book a stay?

    I bet when you go to book it, the rates are inflated so would have worked out cheaper booking elsewhere

    The Buyagift 2 night hotel breaks for £99 used to be a good deal when purchased for £75 with a discount code  and usually included breakfast. Now it’s ridiculous as you have book via the site and they add surcharges and no breakfast. Have stayed at Manifold Inn in Derbyshire pre covid  but now they want £225 supplement now! Don’t think so!
