Got these yesterday they are beautiful
Got mine - saved £17 (y)
I assume this is expired seeing as all stores are closed now
Thanks, good deal
Heat, i saved £11 in store today (y)
On Twitter too, includes café but only applies to 1 individual item: https://twitter.com/HotelChocolat/status/1012617314863378433?s=09 Might get an ice cream, cheers @LadySqueak for the heads up!
Enter code DDS10HC for an extra 10% off.
Have tried to on the ico.org.uk website. Not easy to do. Gave up in the end.
Does that work(annoyed) (annoyed) (annoyed) i have some junk mails sent to my account from some porn site dating spam messages(fierce) i didnt even subscribe to them dont even know how to get them to stop
Can't you just report them with the new GDPR regulations? Call and exert your right to be forgotten, if they don't comply they can get in big trouble.
Be warned.... by purchasing from this company you have to provide an email address. If you then decide to unsubscribe to stop being bombarded by emails from them you will notice it has no effect. Ten times or more i have tried to be removed from there email list and i have complained by telephone about this. The emails are still arriving......be warned.
Free delivery if you're spending £35, code CHOCSAWAY. I used it at the same time as the 10% code in the original post. Yum!
They need to get on the click and collect wagon!
Good deal if you can afford to spend on chocolate considering delivery cost as well.
That delivery charge is a killer but thanks anyway OP, love Hotel Chocolat.
For me the 10% discount was effectively an offset. I did find a free delivery code but couldn't make it work (no idea why), but the 10% saved me more given the price of my bundle, so was all good.
My mouth is drooooooling !! wow this looks so dam good lol
Most welcome everyone! Glad you enjoyed :) Sadly my nearest hotel chocolat cafe is 30miles away :(
Excellent, my wife and I collected ours earlier, thank you!
So need one of those near me. Heat added although I'm already too hot!
great find on a hot day. tasted good too. heat added.
Yes, the title should be....almost BOGOF! XD
Waitrose £2 - 90g Hotel Chocolat £3.95 - 100g (or 3 for £10) So it's cheaper, tastes good and they say "CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE? YOU ARE NOT ALONE." I clearly have no idea about marketing, as knowing the above would make me go and try the Waitrose/Lily O'Brien one as I was passing and not bother looking for a Hotel Chocolat.....
Not sure I like this.. Waitrose have always made good quality chocolate products etc, the only difference is mainly the price 👎🏻
Shrewsbury would be a good place to try this, There is a Little Waitrose almost directly across the High street from Hotel Chocolat. Less that 200 yards for a taste test.
While I will admit it's not *quite* as nice as it used to be, the reason I still like HC is the cocoa level in their milk chocolate. It's much darker than most, and it suits my tastes.
You can use the stock checker to see if your local store has stock and then you won’t have to pay delivery There is stock in Worcester for example
+ 3.95 delivery
Shame not all their shops sell coffee though, it's only the 'cafe shops' doing this offer.
How long is the offer on for
From their website (y)
Actually there's quite a lot of suggestion that GDPR will give rise to a new class of ambulance chasing lawyers willing to represent people / a class of people to claim personal damages for breaches.
Not really! The fines the companies get as a result of an audit doesn't get distributed to customers you know
Oh, and anyone suggesting Thorntons (or even the non-uk nasty new recipe Cadburys) is better that HC needs a new set of taste buds.
Went to store and got "all our eggs in one basket" for £27.50 and a load of others. No Ostrich eggs though as got there 15 mins after opening.
1. Add sender to spam list to stop them arriving in your inbox. 2. Report them to the ICO. Enough complaints and they get an investigation which can lead to a hefty fine. ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/spam-emails/ 3. Sit back, relax and munch your remaining easter eggs.
Thanks OP, been waiting for this, seemed to take ages for the 70% reductions this year. (lol)
£41 of chocolate my wife doesn't need.....
Thanks OP done my usual buying loads of chocolate for no reason at all and wife saying we have too much sugary crap in the house etc.
Or go via TopCashback, and have some chance of receiving their 8% rather than nothing!
Other Hotel Chocolat advent calendar in stock on line or in store here along with other 50% off sale items. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hotel-chocolat-advent-calendar-now-240-was-8-up-to-50-off-sale-2867811
You can use the online stock checker to see if your nearest store has any stock These store have stock Southampton, Windsor, Birmingham, Bath, Teeside & Reading. Haven’t time to check them all. None in Leeds sadly ;(
There were about 10 on shelf in reading maybe in store only now
out of stock
Agreed on all counts. The chocolate I was last purchased (a big slab, with fancy toppings) tasted weird, almost waxy. Maybe they've hit their zenith, and are going the route of Thorntons by reducing quality by using cheaper ingredients to up their profit margins. Disappointing. :(
Same here, felt like an endless stream of catalogues, tasting club, offers. What made it worse was any family addresses I'd sent gifts you got them as well! Took a few emails to get them to stop (it takes 6 weeks to be properly removed from their mail list apparently). As far their chocolates go I used too like them but it feels like the quality has gone down recently (could be my taste buds).
These taste lovely - better than other "premium" chocs I have tried, so 50% off is a real bonus.
Just go down to the supermarkets -they're clearing all the ordinary choc's for pennies....
Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I'll try to pop in next time I'm passing... Which actually will be in January anyway 😁
I did and there are still lots at 50% off this is the first one http://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/chocolate-christmas-decoration.html#srule=price-low&sz=12&start=1 http://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/milk-santa.html#srule=price-low&sz=12&start=3 http://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/dark-chocolate-drops.html#srule=price-low&sz=12&start=4 http://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/comet-does-caramel.html#srule=price-low&sz=12&start=10
There is a couple yes- the way overly priced items that they couldn't shift before Christmas, but out of 86 it is not much. I only buy the small items (change your search to lowest price first and they'll all come up) as I can't afford a box of chocolate priced at £17.50 (how they were ever worth £35 is beyond me) :/ . All the small items in the summer sale and in their Easter sale went to 50% off, at which I could just about justify the high cost lol but not til then. If you have plenty of cash to splash then these are great but for me it's just too expensive :(
There are plenty of Christmas chocolate reduced by 50% i’ve put some examples in the comment above

Wait till end of JAN18 50 - 70% OFF.
Tried a box of these when I got a voucher for a welcome box thingy for £7 RRP £28.......honestly prefer a bag of peanut M&Ms,maybe it’s a acquired taste but they tasted awful tbh
Some stuff is 50% off, a lot seems to be 30%.
Was about to order then the £5 delivery only option put me off no click and collect. Not worth it.
If only this was on a few days ago, silly of them really as they might of had a few more sales before Christmas, hopeless selling them afterwards.
haha yep, theres 1 at Bluewater, not sure if any others
Last year they had 20% off immediately after Christmas in their stores. Good chance they'll run the same deal again? There was also no minimum spend. Might be worth waiting if you really wanted some.
same here, think they have realised their mistake already
And the clever bit with Ferraro rocher is they don't actually contain any chocolate... just like nutella it's all sugar and oil
I find Hotel Chocolat a bit meh myself. They're not bad, but nowhere near as nice as the packaging suggests
#capitalerror or maybe you really have to capitalise Money? Oh this list goes on. You are so very perfect.
Update on my quidco claim... Hi, Thank you for your claim. To explain further about the process your claim is going through, we quality check these to ensure you have provided the correct purchase details needed for the retailer to process the claim and in turn confirm the cashback. We have seen a pattern for this retailer where the order reference number is usually in the format of 53782586 in the vast majority of claims that have previously been raised. As we would like to give you the best chance of obtaining the cashback for this purchase we request that you supply this reference to us. If you cannot find this reference I would recommend contacting the retailer to obtain this. Please provide this information within the next 14 days. If we receive no response by this time, your claim will automatically be closed. In the unlikely event this reference isn't provided it may be that your purchase isn't eligible for cashback and may be declined, however, we will do what we can to try and obtain this for you. We look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Support Team
Tried messaging them on Facebook Messenger... all messages were ignored. Gave them an email, they asked me to confirm my billing address, which I did. Never got any reply. In the end I just contacted my bank and requested a chargeback. We'll see how this goes
If you want a refund/are struggling getting a refund, just say you didn't like the chocolates. They offer a no-quibble guarantee. To be honest, I didn't like the taste at all. Don't think many on here did either judging by some of the comments.
OH contacted them via Facebook and he received the refund today.
can buy the advent calendar online too.... https://www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/the-advent-calendar-milk.html
They were in stock for me - ordered one I was planning to buy but never got around to before the start December - that worked out, will try that next year too! (cheeky)
Good discount but Thorntons ones are less than half price, including their luxury ones... I went with them in the end; I was in both shops today!
white, milk and the one for two in stock online.
Neither voucher works for me ;( expired?
thanks :) that will teach me not to try & buy my dad chocolate orange marmalade XD
The free delivery code isn't working with the 15% off code this morning! Shame, but managed to get free C&C so not too bad. Just checked their FAQs, looks like if the things you want aren't already in the store's stock then they ship it to the store and charge you for that. ;(
Thanks for the post, head added and a few things purchased.
i can't get it to do c&c for free :( anyone have any ideas? thanks
