This deal has come down in price again, only a few days left for the cashback to grab a even better bargain

The Hotpoint Aqualtis AQ113F497E washing machine is the latest evolution in washing technology, giving you total care for your clothes. And with a striking Tungsten door, this machine is just as impressive outside as inside.
Whilst the gigantic 11kg load capacity and A+++ energy efficiency are the backbone of the Aqualtis, at its heart are easy to use programmes such as Colour Care, Ultra Delicate and Bed and Bath cycles to give your clothes and fabrics the TLC they deserve. Other options include:

◾Acclaimed anti-allergy wash, that has achieved the Allergy UK seal of approval ensures clothes are thoroughly rinsed for those with sensitive skin
◾Super Eco function for an even more energy efficient wash
◾Platinum Care wash, endorsed by Woolmark, for your woollen items - this uses gentle agitation and low spin speeds to enable a thorough yet supremely gentle wash

This machine also hosts steam options for natural, economical and gentle cleaning of clothes. Using the innovative titanium heating element, it creates perfect steam molecules which penetrate and relax laundry fibres. The density of steam is much less than that of water, ensuring total hygiene and complete care while cleaning. This Aqualtis machine hosts two special steam cycles:

◾Steam refresh – a short twenty minute cycle to help remove odours such as smoke or food smells, or to freshen up garments that have only been worn for a few hours
◾Steam Hygiene – an additional period of steam at the end of a normal wash cycle, for a deep and thorough cleanse that eliminates 99.9% of germs and bacteria. This combines with the Anti Allergy cycle to remove allergens from your clothes

Other key features of the Hotpoint Aqualtis are the titanium alloy drum - which is anti-stain, keeping it hygienically clean and resistant to corrosion - and unique wave-shaped lifters in the drum that gently caress your clothes and fabrics during the wash. An efficient 1400rpm spin speed ensures your clothes are easier to dry when they come out of this machine.

Key features:

◾A+++ energy rating for efficient use
◾Huge 11kg capacity can handle large loads
◾Delay start so you can wash when it suits you
◾1400rpm spin speed spins clothes effectively
◾Clear digital display makes setting washes easy
◾Child lock and anti-overflow device for peace of mind

For over 100 years, Hotpoint have made life easier and delivered outstanding results with their innovative and intelligent appliances.

thanks for your constructive comment, is that talking from experience?. This did get over 600 heat when it was on at £399

I bought this washer for £340 in the Black Friday deals and have found it to be brilliant in every way. Looks good, washes good, massive capacity-I would recommend to all.

Thanks Bigbuds, can I just ask - Only concern is it doesn't have 'automatic load adjustment'. So I'm guessing it will want to use 11kg load worth of water and time even if I had 6kg of washing. Is that right? Any feedback/advice would be appreciated. Cheers!

What's the wash cycle times on this big bid ?

Varies from 75 mins to 215 mins depending on the cycle . My original post for this machine http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/ginormous-capacity-11kg-hotpoint-aqualtis-aq113f497i-1400-spin-a-rrp-749-399-john-1816585
Really impressed so far easily fits a king size duvet . Adjusts time and fill automatically when not full (ie half loads ) . If used to full capacity you'll probably need an extra washing line ! Good spin performance don't think the 1600 model could do much better . Had this a couple of months now - too early for the cashback offer but well chuffed with this machine.:)

Having just shredded my arms trying to replace a drive belt on a Hotpoint tumble drier I thnk I would give this a miss. No thought to basic maintenance tasks, I feel so sorry for Hotpoint repair people. I fit all sorts of belts daily where I work yet it took me 15 minutes and plenty of blood to fit a new drive belt. Curiously the manufacturers data sheet stated minimum drive pulley diameter is 50mm the motor drive pulley is half that.

Sorry to echo the other posters comments but from my experience hotpoint appliances seem to be the worst for reliability ... Customer service is appalling ... The fact they offer a warranty only on the parts not the labour like samsung / Siemens/Panasonic at this price range should tell you all you need to know ... And they have been overtaken by Italians -- not exactly known for their manufacturing prowess ---

Hotpoint/Indesit...." avoid at all costs ".

Above quote from my neighbour who is washing machine engineer.

Any one know if you can get a stacking kit for this? Got a new hotpoint already but can't be stacked due to curved facia, so need to buy another new one now.

I was going to post this last night but the thread above appeared. As it is not expired, I just added a post to it to bump it up.

I have to add too though, that my sister had exactly this machine, it cost her a bomb and it was absolutely dreadful. There was constantly something wrong with it, including it jamming closed with clothes and water inside which were ruined by the time it could be opened. The drain plug was leaking within a year and it kept simply not doing what you pressed it to do. Also, the front on it which opens, is massive and bulky, really no good if you have a cramped utility room. It opened to the right (probably to allow access to the powder drawer on the left), which is the opposite from any machine I've had. She now has a Beko of all things which literally cost her a quarter of the Aqualtis, and it's given perfect performance and results in the year shes had it.

Id hope it would be, since the Black Friday deals were only four months ago.

Well we've had one of these Aqualtis washers for a couple of years now and it's brilliant! The load capacity is so big we only do 2 or 3 washes a week now.

Can those people saying not to buy this Hotpoint machine gives us details of another machine that has a similar capacity for a similar cost?

Yes.......just take it to your local rubbish tip and it will sit on top of all the others.

I have the 1600 and matching dryer. Brilliant machine! Every brand has people disliking it look at apple but personally highly recommend it.

I was worried by the hotpoint reputation, but my 'Ultima' has been going for 8 years or something - including a good bit of time in a shared house with 5/6 people living there.

Hotpoint, terrible reputation.

parts only warranty oh dear

My kitchen is like a hot point kitchen, we have fridge freezer, trumble washer the lot and cant recommend them highly enough. They all do their job excellently and we always replace with a hot point appliance when required.

Voted hot from me Thanks OP

That's not actually the case, its two year parts and labour, with five years, presumably actually the remaining three, at parts only.

I have had my hotpoint machine for 7 years and it has never missed a beat.

my washer as just died (5 year old) inside the drum plastic things snapped of & think the drum needs replacing don't know if worth while getting repaired or to get this 1 for £468 after £50 cash back including the 5 year breakdown cover

You do get spectacular results with Hotpoint / Indesit washers;

Exact predicament I am in. Washing machine is broken in the same way as yours. Could get it returned or upgrade to this massive one. Let us know how you get on.

Have got the 1600 spin of this machine, had for three months, it's quick, quiet and has been very reliable, giving excellent washing results.
Quick wash of 15 minutes is ideal if you have kids or need something at short notice on a night out.

Previous washing machine was a zanussi, which died within 5 years.
