Soooo tempted to purchase

Someone please tell me if this is worth it

Would also like to hear people's views on this.

the warranty is useless, as they will charge you a small fortune to come out after 1 year

Just asked someone. It's £40 call out charge for the hour, for one of there engineers

You will need to buy a warranty to cover the labour charge and trust me you will need it at this price look for another make

Hotpoint are unreliable.
Washer dryers are generally unreliable
The two together are a recipe for disaster.

Could you recommend another make ?

Do not buy hotpoint I beg you.

I've had a Hotpoint Aquarius washer dryer for the past 10 years without any problems and it's still going strong, and with 2 kids its used constantly. So in my experience they're great.

Anything but a hotpoint brand, that includes indesit, we had a hotpoint washer engineer was out every month he told us he knew all his customers by their first name. After paying the extra warranty for 5 years gave up and got an LG touch wood 3 years down the line and never a problem. Had 3 hotpoint dishwashers, each had to be replaced by hotpoint in the end gave up and bought a Siemens not a single problems. Hotpoint fridge was the only item that didn't break down but all of the plastic internal parts like milk shelves, salad boxes all had to be replaced at my expense. We were brought up on hotpoint as the premium brand with great service but since it's takeover all went down hill. Should really have realised that when the bolts that held the concrete block on the top of the washer sheered off after only 4 months and I called them they told me it couldn't be a manufacturers fault that it was all going to go down hill from there. It's been a few years since we bought hotpoint but in every thread or googling you see the same comments.

Just about to chuck my Hotpoint Ultima washer dryer in the skip nothing but issues from day one - has been repaired at least 10 times. Moving on to Bosch as I've finally had enough of not knowing on any one given day if the damn thing will work. Spend wise or spend twice - you have been warned !!

personally i would go with this

The warranty is worthless, as when mine went it was a £100+ call out charge to see what was wrong and another £100+ call out charge to come back with the parts to fit. Weirdly they had the parts with them when it failed while still under warranty.

Buy a dearer one with a proper warranty, rather than this one which works out more expensive as its the warranty that is earning them money.
