Have been looking to upgrade our cooker for a while now. After a lot of research we decided on one of these. With the 20% off eBay voucher this was the cheapest I could find it.

Was on the hunt for a cooker too and it was a right nightmare finding one as not a single cooker, no matter how expensive, had consistently good reviews. We wanted to go for a Cannon as ours has last 20 years but looking a but old but realised that the new Cannons are made by Hotpoint which if you read the reviews for on trustpilot are uttterly terrifying. Decided to splash out and go for a Stoves cooker but even they had dodgy reviews

Would you mind sharing some of your research op?
I have the old version of this oven and they are shocking quality. The actual oven worked nicely for about 1 year and now doesn't circulate air properly and food burns at back and doesn't cook at the front. The hobs on these are terrible, horribly under powered and also cannot retain a consistent temperature. The unit is now 5 years old and 1 of the hobs is either on full or off. I'm replacing my kitchen shortly and will be NEFF or nothing.
We too found every cooker had some negative/dodgy reviews. We we're looking for a cooker under £400 so after trawling through a load of reviews we decided to go for this one in hopes it serves us well. We currently have a 50cm gas cooker, so I'm hoping this feels like a decent upgrade!

I found this site pretty helpful with the choice of filters you can use

I think if I had the same £400 budget I would have got something from the Hotpoint Ultima range. Currys was doing the stainless steel one a week ago for £419 with an extra £40 off at the checkout. I would have obviously used the left over money for a fire extinguisher!
