I've just found this freestanding hotpoint cooker for £239.40 Cheapest I can see everywhere else is Argos having it at 399. I found an ecoupon TDX-WGMP that gave me 40% off at checkout and saved £159.60. I've bought 2, one for me and one for the inlaws, she might stop burning the dinner now....

Ecoupon TDX-WGMP expires on 22/04/2017

Trying to order it - code not working for me

Great deal- thanks OP for posting.

My bad I was trying on the Graphite - working on stainless steel! Thanks op

Not working for me. It says I must make sure it's from Tesco. It is. Well done to those that got it. Edited to add, just got it to work. Thanks.

ordered..thanks

Good cooker. Good price. Paid more last year from ao.

The post says its duel fuel, but the link only mentions gas (Gas Cooker with Gas Grill and Gas Hob).
Am I missing something?

Yep, I'm seeing the same. The title might need to be changed so. Thanks for your response!

Oh no, can't benefit from this as my cooker space is 60cm so not enough leeway on either side. Shame it doesn't work on smaller models, but a great deal all the same.

mine is 61cm, hopefully it should fit oO

thanks op

I think with some you don`t need leeway either side, not sure about this model though.

a gas engineer refused to fit my 60cm cooker because my gap is 62cm

It might depend on manufacturers guidelines

Thanks, but looks like a need a bit more leeway as I don't seem to have the required give on each side which they are saying is 65mm. Unless I'm reading it wrong.

It seems I'm ok above hotplates but not enough below or whatever. Such a shame. I think I too need the 50cm one which the code will not budge on,lol!

Hi the gap is 61cm

It's about 10mm give on each side

Does that coupon only work on hotpoint?

Thanks Op. Perfect timing, needed a new cooker. Have some heat (no pun intended)

Not taking 40% off the one i looking to buy

It only seems to work on that particular one for me.

Code expires today

Gas cookers still to be scrapped due to Paris Climate Change, or did Brexit change that?

Found the one we were after (it was in Currys on monday for around £439), and over the course of the day it had dropped in price again! Couple with that ecoupon, you've just saved me a couple of hundred quid! thanks OP.

Hotpoint say you need 60cm

So I should be clear with a 61cm and no need for an extra how many mm either side? That would be great! Thanks for all your help

Is everyone getting Tesco to install it? I'm re-decorating so I'm going to get installation separate, as they may come before I've finished. Is it usually a lot more than their £80?

They don't come with a hose fitted anymore I think so that puts me off

They never have a bayonet cooker hose pre installed.

My old one has the hose, but I'll get someone out as knowing my luck, after trying I'll have the biggest gap ever, lol!

snoopy18

So you use your current hose and some fairy liquid or gas detector spray?

In theory, but I would always replace a hose whenever I change a cooker. Threaded joint one end, bayonet the other. It's a few minutes work.
