Consistent and reliable in performance, the Hotpoint Aqualtis Washing Machine works to keep your clothes looking and feeling fresh and new. This model has been given an A+++ energy efficiency rating. This appliance has an annual energy consumption of 303.6kwh and uses 62 litres of water per wash, which is hugely beneficial to your energy usage and running costs. Alongside these, there is the bed and bath cycle, specially designed for use with bigger loads.

This model comes with a special steam setting, which has been designed to remove odours and bacteria. Next to this, there is the ?My Cycle' option, which operates on the premise of remembering your most used programme. Other features include High Definition washing, Eco Tech, Aqualtis, Eco Cycles and Woolmark Platinum Care.

New innovative Anti-Stain technology manages temperature, agitation and water, ensuring the removal of the toughest stains, whilst protecting your fabrics. The 40°C phase removes stains and maintains the temperature at 43°C. The new Anti-Stain technology removes up to 20 of the most stubborn and difficult everyday stains.

There is also a Child Lock function, which locks the control buttons, designed to prevent children from altering the settings. The Anti-Allergy programme washes without causing stress to the fabric. It removes the allergens that usually agitate the skin in two separate stages. Firstly, the water heats up at the beginning of the cycle and secondly, the temperature is maintained at 60°C.

Not a problem Baz your welcome, I am sure this will help someone

Not a deal I'm afraid ,this model is available from John Lewis, Currys ,Coop Electrical etc etc at the same price . Obviously better from John Lewis as it include a 2 year guarantee and the option to extend it to 5years for £129 . Bought the 1400 Spin version myself a couple of weeks ago for £30 more from John Lewis . Great machine and Huge ! Don't worry if you don't think you can fill it as it has auto load sensing so only uses the water (and electricity ) the load requires . You can also do a King Size Quilt and rugs in it .

First of all John lewis is expensive £400 and not available to buy as it out of stock so suggesting a product which is expensive and not available at all is completely irreverent here.

I do wish you would get your facts straight ,John Lewis do not hold stock ,the washer I delivered direct from Hotpoint/Indesit -mine took 4 days ! Currys the same and the offer you're quoting , guess what the same ! Electrical 123 of course don't hold warehouses full of stock either . Strangely the silver door version of the 1200 spin is cheaper than the white door version .Yet the silver door version of the 1400 model is more expensive . Please don't get into an argument you cant win - I researched these machines for a month before buying . And as I said its a great machine but everyone sells them at the same price . So John Lewis every time .

I know what it looks like I've got one in the kitchen ! (1400 spin version) which I thought was worth the extra £30.

This is the cheapest price I could find right now for this machine. The prices from others are;
Curry price £368.00
Co-operative price ; £379.00
John Lewis price ; £400
However I get the point of john lewis service compare to other curry- co operative which is guarantee (1 year extra) but unhelpful as not available to buy outright. These are the facts and we debates here at HUKD to get the best out and benefit not ARGUE as you mentioned to win somebody over. Anyway I still thank you for your input. Cheers

Ensure you're comparing like for like the Aqualtis AQ113L297E (silver door) is exactly the same as the Aqualtis AQ113L297I (white door ) apart from door colour . Same on the 1400 range .

Like I said John Lewis don't hold stock -Delivered to me in 4 days .

Can I just pipe in and say that electrical123.com "is owned by one of the biggest and established retailers in the UK." and has the same address as Co-op Electrical (from their websites).
If buying from Co-op don't forget 2.1% TCB and your Divi.
Thanks to OP for heads-up and the other contributors for the debate.
Peace.

I own a aqualtis machine. Worst machine ever. Worked lovely for a yr. Every 3 months they have to come out to replace the insides. Or the weights shatter. The list goes on. When the machine works I can not fault it. But in hindsight I would never of bought. When I went on to the hot point Facebook page. There were many people complaining of the same thing. With these machines.

Just what we need, ordered.

I don't get it, why are people voting this a great deal? Same price in multiple retailers by the sounds of it.

Second of all was that it's out if stick people love to be picky on here lol

Stock** ;-)

Hotpoint <--- not a sign of reliability (after warranty period btw)

Great price but not good enough to make me want to deal with the likes of Indesit. WORST non customer service ever. No wonder I see their machines job lotted up at B&Q for £199 a piece.

I think its with most of the electronic products now a days that why companies provide these extra warranty not like years back when you bought something without worrying so much about warranty of getting faulty in first place as the electronics products were well built and much reliable I guess.

thinking of getting this as our old washer is giving up the ghost. For me it's a toss up between this and one of the Samsung ecobubble washers posted on here recently with a 5 year parts and labour vs this one that has 5 years parts but only 1 years labour. surely the labour could work out quite pricey??? Samsung is 7kg I think, but this panasonic doesn't have such great reviews even on which. hmmm

I bought a similar 11kg model for the huge capacity -not the weight -the volume, it will wash a King Size quilt which you cant with a smaller capacity machine . For smaller loads it automatically uses less water and electicity through automatic load sensing. To be honest I dont think the 5 year parts guarantee is worth a jot as you have to call a technician through Hotpoint and they ,apparently charge a fortune . Therefore you need to factor in the cost of a 5 year warranty (£129 from John Lewis if bought from there ). £500 for 5 years worth of an advanced machine of this size -not bad .

After problems with a Hotpoint fridge freezer then a fairly expensive Indesit washer breaking down twice in the first year including less than a month old then dying just out of warranty with an uneconomical repair, I'll never buy another Indesit/Hotpoint appliance ever again. Customer Service couldn't care less. We were given a bad machine from day one and they replaced a few parts and refused a replacement. The Zanussi, which I should add cost almost half as much,we've had well over a year since has been absolutely perfect and trouble free as was our 8 year old Whirlpool before it that got a bit small for our needs. Hotpoint appliances aren't made like they used to be.

Hot point customer service is terrible. When my fridge stopped working (within warranty) the call center man was very rude and threatening and it took six weeks for fridge to be repaired. Try living six weeks in summer sans fridge. Its worth considering these things when you are buying something this integral to modern life.

Some of the comments show why I would always buy through John Lewis (paying the extra £129 for the 5 year warranty) .Hotpoint (and some other brands) do have historical problems with customer service which is why I would not rely on the 5 year parts guarantee . For the price ( The 1400 model is better value for £30 more) I decided to take the risk as I can do without a washer whilst waiting for it to be fixed . Obviously a Fridge ,Freezer or central heating boiler you need to be reliable and to be fixed straight away if it does break down .

High definition washing???
Lol!!
