watch out for the free parts, you have to get the labour from hotpoint as well as the parts, labour works out expensive, cheaper to buy a 5 year warranty instead

was quoted £119 for the labour on this sh** machine, it will only last for 12 months.
our less then 2 year old hotpoint recently died and the 5 years parts warranty is a waste of time as it costs a minimum of £109 quid for a one off repair.
Whats annoying is I know the PCB is at fault but they wont send you the parts to fit yourself.

SoGA should protect though using your consumer rights is easier said than done typically (though I just got Tesco to stump up £120 to repair a 2.5 yo Panasonic TV - it'll cost me £10 for the faulty component).
You may as well burn your cash
Hotpoint - no thanks!

Take a look at the BEKO posted earlier.

I am afraid I have to add Bosch to the list! Can't be too careful if any of them could burn your kitchen down!
Please put the money towards a decent washer. Avoid Hotpoint.
