Just got this for the misses after her chest freezer gave up the ghost, after looking around this seems a good deal for the money, they will be delivering it on Tuesday, will give verdict after it arrives.

as it's Hotpoint, you should've bought 2

I have this freezer and it's the worst thing I have ever bought. Save your money and go for something better . Mine is constantly needing an engineer out.

I find it strange that you and your wife have separate fridge freezers … I find it strange that you and your wife have separate fridge freezers each, hope your fridge freezer is still working. My wife and i just have one fridge freezer at home, it belongs to us both.

I love you

I love the way you put it - bought it for the "misses" - none of your tinnies going in then?

I have this too for about 13 months and paid a lot less than that for it. Incredibly noisey compresser and all the freezer shelf fronts have broken. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.......and beware of the Indesit version as it's the same fridge with a different badge.

I just read it back and thought it sounded more inflammatory than in jest, so deleted the comment.

It made me and the misses laugh to, we don't live together at the moment, hopefully that will change this year, so it only needs to last 8—9 months.

Iv been looking at this model recently.
Its only £229 in John Lewis and they offer 2 year guarantee, where as most places only offer 1 year
so well worth the £9 extra from John lewis (in my opinion)

Well I've been a been a bit remiss in posting a review as I promised, so here we go,

Delivery was in a 2 hour window, so could arrange my misses farther to wait in for it, which was very handy, the fridge freezer it's self is nice and roomy, the freezer has icecube trays built in to the draw front which seems like a good idea but I have not used them yet so do not know how practical they will be, as for the noise it's practically silent, though we are going from a chest freezer that I think Churchill once owned, so maybe I'm used to a lot noise. Overall a good buy.
