Hotpoint Smart SMX Fridge Freezer £269.00 at Currys

smart? what does it do? get the chicken nuggets out and defrost them for when you get home from work?

I've got this...nothing smart about it! Just a normal frost free fridge freezer with quick chill n quick freeze (as long as you turn quick freeze on the day before you freeze the food!).

The doors are as thick as bricks and don't believe the capacity's cos we also have a lot smaller capacity Zanussi that we can fit a lot more food into!! The Zanussi is 10 years old and well better than this Hotpoint. Good price though, we paid £299.

We didn't go for the Hotpoint because it seemed quite small . Went for the LG model instead and it's been great

"Smart" seems the new marketing buzz word to slap on any old consumer product to make it sound avant-garde and high tech, rather like "tronic" used to be in the 1980's

It is currys it will go back down in price, they yoyo prices to show potential savings but its not real savings
