Maybe they have a house like mine....7 people = 2 adults + 3 kids +1 grandma + 1 great granny!!
:P

Got a replacement washer coming tomorrow for my 4 year old Hotpoint. Would never have one again, bearings have gone three times in the last 18 months.

Good for a king size and larger duvet I bet.
got one last year very happy, really quiet, everyone who hears it comments, 9kg is a good size when you have kids
ive got this its a load of rubbish. if you put the washing on a certain wash it doesn't spin properly so your stuff comes out drenched
how is this hot, it hotpoint. Had a hotpoint ultima , it lasted 13 months. worst machine I ever had. Never bought hotpoint again after having this.
Hotpoint has one of the lowest ratings for reliability (Which?) - avoid.

Best budget brand is Beko.

Considering they also have the highest ownership - obviously there will be a higher failure rate. I have had a hotpoint for 8 years and still going strong. My friend had a Miele which packed after 2 years and one of my work colleagues had a Bosch which had to be replaced 3 times as it kept breaking down.
