The Hotpoint WMFUG742G SMART Washing Machine offers convenient features and an efficient performance.

Smart features

Expect better wash performance and cut down on the amount of energy and water you use thanks to the WMFUG742G's innovative Smart features.

Delivering maximum fabric care and rinsing performance, the WMFUG742G uses Auto+ to recognise the size of a load and manage water levels and drum action for optimum results. Speed+ automatically raises the water temperature and increases movement in the drum to get the most out of detergent. Any excess residue is removed at the end of the cycle for better results.

The Performance+ feature can intensify the wash, optimising the effectiveness of the wash to deal with more stubborn stains.

Everyday washing

The Hotpoint WMFUG742G offers a generous 7 kg wash capacity along with an energy efficient A++ performance to keep costs low. This eco friendly washer gives you the ultimate energy saving convenience without compromising on performance.

A Fast Wash 30 function gets your garments swiftly refreshed and ready to dry in just 30 minutes.

Anti-stain

With anti-stain technology, the WMFUG742G removes tough every day stains at a simple touch of a button. This wash technology intelligently manages water, agitation and temperature to beat the hardest of stains. A 40°C phase removes enzymatic stains before the washer maintains a constant 43°C temperature for the most effective wash performance.

Anti-allergy

With anti allergy washing, the Hotpoint washing machine removes dirt and allergens contained within fabrics. This is achieved by heating up the water at the beginning of the cycle and then maintaining a 60°C temperature for allergy-friendly results.

Recipient of Allergy UK approval, the washer effectively reduces pollen and dust levels as well as eliminating mites.

Functions

There are 16 wash programmes to enjoy including a handy Bed and Bath function that ensures the perfect balance of heat, tumble and cooling for bulky bedding and towels.

Get the best out of your laundry load with functions for your delicates, whites and options for an intense washing to rid harder stains.

Enjoy simple, stress-free and efficient laundry with the Hotpoint WMFUG742G SMART Washing Machine in graphite.

Does anyone have any experience with Hotpoint? Any issues with there washing machines?

Thanks
yes i had indesit hotpoint washer cost just short of 400 quid after 15 months it breaks down then it cost another 110 for a call out 5 months after that broke again would never go there again
I've just replaced my hotpoint washing machine after it died (it was 12 years old) with another Hotpoint and am so far delighted with it, had it around a month now. No issues whatsoever with the previous one either, I don't think 12 yrs out of a washing machine used 4-5 times a week is too bad

I would not touch hotpoint my washing machine exploded in my kitchen and I wasn't the first person it happened nor will I be the last, hotpoint did not even investigate as they couldn't care less
I've got matching Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine and dryer and had them 5 plus years. Don't get me wrong, we've had the odd problem but for added piece of mind we have the Hotpoint insurance in place. For a monthly premium, each time we have a problem we call Hotpoint and an engineer comes out to investigate and repair etc. I'd recommend based on my experience.

ISIS?
Bought one on Sunday for £239, am I right in thinking they'll refund me the difference?
Heard hot point are not what they used to be, advised to go LG, Samsung or Miele if you want reliability and quality. Spend £100-£150 more now and it will cost a lot less in repairs and last 5+ years more
Spend £150 more? If this lasts 5 years a new one was only £209, what's the point.
We had one the guarantee costs a fortune, we added the engineer to our Christmas card list he was here so often. Customer service is woeful it's never their fault even when it clearly is. For a few quid more you can get a good brand we got a replacement LG and touch wood 3 years in and no engineer and the samsung ones get good reviews.

Just seen the reduced price it won't be a few quid more for the other brands but you won't need the labour warranty.

Hotpoint are just awful. Google them on the trustpilot website for some fun reading. They don't even bother answering their phone. Had to contact customer services through twitter when our new washer dryer broke down and was left with no washing machine for weeks. Never never ever again
overpriced in first place after big price drop for 379 you could have much better machine than this one

We had a hotpoint finished in Chrome. It looked nice until it started rusting. Then it broke down after 2 years of use. So we binned it offand bought a Bosch - now this is a quality machine

yeah they are bit rubbish in terms of how long they last. indesit is there cheaper brand. basically something will fail in it once the warranty finishes. then its a costly repair etc. As this is there business model now, selling parts and repairs

I bought this Washing Machine on 23 December and it was already reduced to £239.99 so only another £30 off - wish that £30 was in my pocket rather than Currys Bank account though. Got £10 off with O2 priority though. Happy with purchase otherwise, replaced a 2 year old Beko that just stopped rotating/spinning.
