After year 2 you will gave to pay £120+ for labour warranty per year, takes this into the price of a 5 year machine, always sone on here.

And as Hotpoint are very very reliable and known for their top rate customer service and not having issues that affect parts of your home, family and possible neighbours, you will certainly need to factor in the extra cost unless you want to run it and replace it.

it will get hot though and not just the deal

To be fair and possibly been very lucky here, I’ve had 3 Hotpoint's (2 in rental properties) and now have a washer dryer in property I own and have had no issues, work perfectly and represent good value for money. On the other hand, recommended them to my parents and their machine, although no issues as such, is just a bit crap. I mean, my washer dryer is not brand new but seems to be fine. Are newer models worse?
I have ordered one as my LG ecodrive gave up after 12 years. This Hotpoint is selling between £249 and 299 on most other places. I think it's a good deal if you're on a tight budget like me.

Had two hotpoints both costly repairs just outside of warranty.

Bought a Bosch no mechanical problems in 7 years only had to have inner rubber seal replaced at 5 year mark.

Going from the LG to this you will regret it
Hotpoint! No thanks!
Used to love hotpoints but they are no longer safe, we had a tumble dryer that died one month after warranty expired. Before just taking it to the local dump I opened it up (to see if I could fix it), I found that a significant amount of electrical wiring was badly scorched (wiring had gone black so much so that the metal panels holding the wiring was burnt also).

Hotpoint Customer Services have only just stopped writing to us about it, despite me emailing them and sending every recall letter back to them.

Not voting cold but not voting hot either.
Must be living under a rock to even want this free
Good price but not for me.

At Which? we're committed to giving you all the information you need to make an informed choice about the products you buy and this includes telling you about how companies handle safety issues with their products. We have identified that this product comes from a group of companies that we believe has previously handled a product safety issue poorly (though the issue affected tumble dryers only).

I don't trust which, they may be experts but not consumers. Do you remember Galaxy Note 7 battery exploding. This can happen to any company.

only £110 more
(less than the cost of replacement hotpoint circuit board which you can not fit yourself)
I'm never buying Hotpoint after the last one - bearings went inside 4yrs of light / moderate use. Requires new drum, can't just replace bearings.
DON'T BUY HOTPOINT THEY DON'T LAST!!!
Hotpoint are crap now,
Used to be good but since indesit bought the company have gone downhill bigtime.
I would rather buy a beko than a Hotpoint.
I’ve just spoken to customer services to find out if they will still recycle old washing machines (ours broke a couple of days ago); they stated they are no longer delivering bulky items at all as they can only have one delivery driver to a van. I didn’t query if one person couldn’t deliver a washing machine with a loading trolley, but seems a bit misleading that they’re still available to purchase online if they can’t deliver for the foreseeable? Will probably end up purchasing the Argos Bush washer that was posted on here. Not ideal but we’re on a budget and can’t go without a washing machine! Looks like our old one will be sat in the back garden until the rag and bone men visit classy!
Hotpoint Mjlf
Just got rid of a Hotpoint, I live in an upstairs flat, it was tempting to give it that last push down the stairs or even put a brick inside of it's belly - nasty horible machine. At least it didn't catch fire.

I hated it, the faults, the noise and just the general appearance.

Replaced with a Beko Aquatech in black. Waited over a Year to buy since first hearing about it.
(The proto-type had a color lcd display)
Led inside the drum, bluetooth, steam and 9KG.

The knob feels really nice when you turn it.

It's only £100 more than this, it has recently dropped £60.

Smaller capacity and lower spin speed for ONLY £110 more... Rather silly.
