It's 70% off the number of stores isn't it?

I'm sure the 6000 people losing their jobs appreciate you getting a cheap laugh.

Thanks just got a good reduction on a Kipling bag

Why would you buy a bag just for cakes?
Has anyone actually found a bargain yet? I’ve just had a look and it’s like a regular sale! Hand towels reduced from £90 to £50 no wonder they’re going bust

Got a wool coat for DH, £130 down to £39, light shades £50 down to £15 not saying that I thought either was worth their original price as I've not received them yet but I'm hoping they are still a bargain.

I got a v-neck Hilfiger t-shirt for £10, a couple in white and one in black. Some nice light jumpers for men, all around £10 each so there are a few decent deals kicking about.

Sense of humour bypass alert
Still pretty dissapointing at 70% off!
Not being funny but even 70% won't help them. Everything decent isn't discounted enough!
70% off a 200% inflated price.

Terrible customer service.
Check emails for £5 voucher HoF and £2.50 Quidco cash back, today only.
We popped in last week for some pillows. £80 each and that was with 50% off too! A quick google search and found the same pillow for £15

Clearly they thought the best way to improve cashflow was work on ridiculous margins. They thought wrong.

They're probably more upset about losing to Colombia.

oh really well send us both links then so can get such a bargain or don't talk out of your behind ;).

I got and posted suites deal on here - 100% wool suite for £49, peire Cardin one for £69.
I think that is pretty good deal.
I also got lots of gorgeous bedding and 800 count ones and towels on 70% off.
It’s a rip off 70% off sale regularly 4 times a year I believe they have a cycle in sales There will be no sale after this period then they will start by 20% off sale then 50% off sale then finally 70% off sale again . This is the reason there making a loss you can not take 70% off then put the price back up and expect ppl to buy is at the inflated price. Even with 70% off some items are still over priced . Boycott them

Should have let them sleep on it...
The biggest problem I have with HoF isn't with their prices (which can actually be very competitive) but their business practice - if you pay for part of your order using a gift card and end up returning an item, you will always be refunded first in evouchers, which can only be spent online. This way, your money's tied with them and you'll have to spend more in order to use up the evouchers.

That and they never pay out cashback, and if there's an issue requiring you to contact customer service, they are utterly useless. It's really no wonder that they're going down the drain.
Always shop with house of Fraser.Horrible to see these poor people losing their jobs.Wish them all the best for the future.Just purchased a load of new gear great prices and service.
