Illegal in this country on roads pavements and anywhere in public. Only legal on private property so a total waste of time unless you have money to waste.
Now illegal to use on the street.

Could use it in the morning room or nursery.

Yeah great fun to ride in your garden in a small space for £370, we could argue all night about this but they are useless now and you can get them way cheaper than your deal to use in your garden.

£249.99 with LG batteries

Yes good deal but is a different make.
Not sure why you are being so obtuse about use in a garden. Did you never ride your bike in the garden as a child?!
Good for using it in the garden. Cant use it in public now:( This is worth a read zrzhub.com/tec…uk/

I imagine it will be a similar thing to a few years ago where kids had the little petrol scooters. They weren't allowed on the roads or paths but didn't stop kids nipping up and down cul de sacs and empty car parks etc

Not now illegal to use on the street. They were never legal to use in the first place as all devices of this nature have been. However, I'm sure in time the legislation will catch up to the forward march of technology.

Also am I the only one that reads this having bluetooth and thinks it's yet another method for people with dire taste in music to make everyone around them have to put up with listening to it. I dread to think when my neighbours kids get one of these pointless devices for Christmas how much they are going to drive me mad.

They are around £150-200 from most places now & can be used anywhere without much fuss.

If these are to banned, then so must mobility scooters as the same law applies to them......
Has anyone mentioned these are illegal for road use?
Watch the price tumble on these now
I've seen these whizzing around in the last few days with no fuss, no arrests and the sky not falling in. Stupid nanny state laws again. Wish I had enough disposable income to squander on this fun looking albeit fad-ish item
I saw some guy on a unicycle one whizz past me the other day, after a bit of reading the Gotways do like 25 mph.......

No because they are considered as an invalid carriage covered under the road traffic legislation. These things are entirely different. None the less most mobility scooter users in my experience tend to be lacking in sensibility about their use, manner of driving them and where they park them.

Thankyou
Pile of junk
This is the piece of legislation the CPS/cops use to try to ban these. FFS, 1835!!
legislation.gov.uk/ukp…/72

You do not 'ride' them, nor use them to 'cycle', they are not Segways either. CPS, uummm prosecute child rapists? No. How about knife crime? No. How about 10mph new craze? To damn right we will.

It's just the government seeking attention again by making this illegal because they are all sad old weirdos......just against anything that brings fun.
Surely they would have made it legal if they could get any sort of revenue like road tax......
They made them illegal because their dangerous for users and pedestrians alike...epic fail! Watch the prices nose dive

It's unlikely to be a scam. Pretty much all sellers - except the ones who can afford to buy stock and brand their product and add a premium price tag - place the order direct with chinese manufacturer and charge a small fee for doing so. There will usually always be a 2months wait as at these sort of prices you are buying from the factory. If you ever watch an "unboxing" video they will always start by saying "waited Six weeks for this!" etc. not ordered this yesterday... It will probably have a cheap battery and break easily and have no warranty unless you want to pay £100 to post it back to China but you get what you pay for I suppose!
Didn't actually realise these were illegal to use! not that I want one but Google has spent a whole lot of time encouraging its popular YouTubers to review them! All that I see on YouTube these days! Someone's gonna have to open up a hover board course or fifty after Xmas!

Battery scooters are also only to be used on private land and nothing was done about them, I think people are still going to buy these whether their banned or not or a lot of unhappy kids at Christmas
