I love diamonds

Horrible ring!! But heat added as great price!

I love diamonds too, but not keen on this design. Seems like a great price though!

Looks like a Christmas tree

heat for price-ring is hideous tho

Can't imagine the diamonds being any good at this price

If I bought the wife a diamond ring she accuse me of being naughty, worse than buying flowers.

That is a hideous ring!!! Dont think anyone would thank you for that!

Diamonds should be bought for their light reflecting qualities, ie. their sparkle. These diamonds will not be much bigger than grains of sugar and probably have similar light reflecting qualities.

I expect a lot of these will end up being melted down for scrap in a very short time ...

If you throw together enough diamond chips you can make 1 Carat. However, the usual problem with clusters is that the settings are rubbish, so you end up losing a couple of chips - which would cost you an arm and a leg to repair .....

Indeed 100x 0.01ct would be a better description - still, each to their own

When Tesco started selling jewellery, they had a 1 carat cluster ring for £1000 as a couple of staff bought it (flashy type) and it looked quite like this one. So if they thought they were making an investment....they werent!! Hate the design, but good price all the same. (_;)

Good god, that's an ugly ring!

diamonds not like grains of sugar even if there are 100 diamonds that makes them 1 point each so 1mm in diameter. I reckon if you bought this then took it to a jewellers shop you would get a lot more then you paid for it taken account of the price of gold and diamonds at the mo

pawnbrokers would only pay scrap for gold so no you wouldnt get your money back.

I asked the GF about this and her response was "Tesco!, how do you fancy your dinner in the dog & your clothes in Oxfam"

Awful way to get a carats worth of diamonds. I remember when shopping for the mrs ring 5 years back seing a fair few with one main diamond of a particular size which was then also had some of this diamond dust in bits of the design to push it up into a nice sounding round figure in terms of carats. In all cases you were better of getting one with a proper diamond but none of the diamond dust even if you did end up with less carats in the end.
Hate to think what the colour/clarity of these diamonds is though at that tiny size at least you can probably be safe in the knowledge theres no inclusions in them.

Even if diamonds are overpriced by the debeers monopoly/cartel Id still expect to pay a lot more than £100 for a carat of anything decent.
