This is the tried and tested way to get an M&S £10 meal deal for £8 !

Snag is you have to buy two and with the wine of the month which is the very quaffable wave break chardonnay!

Choose any selection of foods, and the two bottle of the same wine as mentioned above for the £4 discount.

The wine is normally somewhere around the £8 mark, and Wot Wine reckon it's worth it, so it's almost like getting all the food for free !

Enjoy !

It's only that price if you buy a case and get 25% off! The current offer on wine of the month makes it £6 per bottle hence the £2 off the meal price !!

I have no idea why you can't find it on Wot Wine, because I've just scanned the bottle and it came up straight away. RRP £7.99 WorWine would pay £7.50

Sound balanced wine. A good introduction to California Chardonnay !

Great deal. The wine was not advertised in the store as part of the deal, but was in the wine section. Went through the check out with two dine in for £10 as £16!

Thoughtful

Ok. I was on their website. It's a case of now you see it now you don't. Interestingly, they put the value of most of M&S wine below the shelf price - exactly what I've found. Far better wine to be had for less elsewhere.

thanks OP - will be nearer to £11 for two meal deals with some discounted gift cards - winner winner chicken dinner

Another 20% off that price too if u work there!

so do you replace the wine that's usually included in the meal deal with this one?

This wine is in the meal deal, it's just that they don't seem to want to advertise the fact !

It worked for me although the lady on the till felt the need to involve the manager to check price.

Nicola Sturgeon really nips ma heed.

Worked a treat for me, many thanks, great tip.
Got a chicken that was meant to be £8+ plus the two bottles of wine, and the rest of deal for £16, brilliant.

Worked for me!
Thanks for posting.

No Wave Break chardonnay in the Parkgate, Rotherham store :-(
(plenty in my fridge)

Just worked in the Cleveleys store, thanks OP!

Can i use my M&s voucher received from Sky on alcohol?

I used mine now and worked a treat - apparently it would of cost me £43 all in all but I made a saving of £27.63

Can you explain why this offer works?

you get The Wave Break chardonnay along with the meal but you have to get 2 deals. the wine is on a separate offer with £4 off if you buy 2 this £4 comes off the price of 2 deals making it £16 instead of £20.

I'm being very civilised and quaffing my first bottle early, not sure I will manage roasting a chicken later but hey ho......I've got trifle!

Worked for me but the checkout lady was puzzled that 2 meal deals cost £16.
2 X £7.95 roast chickens gives me the rest for 10p.

Might go through the self-checkout to avoid the confrontation...

How or where do you apply the code if you are going through a checkout ? .... often have the £10 deal and can't fault the food or wine...

When I went, the woman at the till didn't question it as she was leaving to go home. she didn't seem like a jobsworth. Target the younger staff and stay away from the ones who chat a lot with customers at till.

Drink both bottles today and you'll find your food items have doubled, or quadrupled in this case!

great stuff - worked fine. Decided to get 2 more - thought would try it on the same wine brand but Rose but that one didn't work, so got a weird look off her when went to get the white again when she was saying its only the bottles from section in opposite direction

Went through self service no problem. Heat added. Thanks.

thank you op, worked like a dream, cashier kept looking at her screen but didn't say anything

Not as far as I know, but then they don't publish the wine list anymore. It has to be a wine on the Dine In deal, and also on the wine of the month deal.

ace worked for me.

had a couple of these bottles tonight. Not really a wine person, prefer sweet to dry, but must admit, it was pretty nice as far as wines go, easier to drink than I normally find. Meal was great too...Thanks for posting deal Thoughtful

That certainly is worth buying your weeks meals at that price & stocking up with free wine for the nearing Xmas or weekend tipple!!
That certainly is a winner! !
