I just work it into my day. If I go to the shops, I walk, for example.

I accept it’s hard during the working week, though, and I give it a miss if the weather is foul.

My wife and I went out for a fish lunch today. We walked the long way round next to a small river. It took an hour and a half getting there, and we came back partly on public transport. Total walked was 13800 steps, which is just under 7 miles.

Ok who else’s first thought to this offer was to wonder how hard it was to photoshop 10,000 steps on to a screen shot of their phones step counter to show them......

perhaps you can modify your height and step size (eg on google fit) tbh when the weather's fine I tend to do ~10k, but not necessarily before 5pm.

Bit of a complicated deal when you have to figure out 10,000 steps to get it
Easy peasy for postmen/postwomen to get this one.

now, that is what i call thinking outside the box
Just shake your wearable or phone 10,000 times
Don’t lots of people do 10k steps most days? You guys are all posting like it’s hard to do
If you want to cheat it, pop your phone in the washing machine on spin cycle for 30mins

yes, a lot of people, but not the majority of people. to get 10,000 steps you have to walk 5 miles. how many people do you know walk 5 miles before 5 pm?

metro.co.uk/201…66/

i walk 5 miles in the summer for exercise but during the winter months, i only manage half of this as it is too bloody cold to stay out for too long and the day doesn't stay light long enough to wander around outside. not to mention rain as well.

that would break the phone!
just tie it to an elastic band and hang it up. then give it a pull every now and then
Dunno why but the London Bridge bar looks appealing, not the closest mind

Did the fish lunch give you a “haddock”?

If one really must you can “manually” adjust the number of steps. Not really worth the hassle going there but
I've walked 639 steps today. But ridden over 32 miles.

Yep but everyone has different lives, I was replying to the 'its easy' comment. I've walked 26 miles in a day across the Peaks, most days I do anywhere between 6k steps and we many as 15k because of work.

the Taylor Swift method - shake it off !
never heard of bar
Post pics of what you get I will be attempting this on my next day in at work!
The proclaimers will be laughing
Wow! So many locations! Bath, London & Edinburgh

to get the free burger, you have to get off your bike and walk

That's crazy talk
Do they have a drive ride through?
No bars in the NE, cold
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
just be that man who claims a freebie
To spend no more
It's not difficult. If you need to cheat to do 10,000 steps, you probably don't need free snacks. 🌭🌮🌯🍔🍗🍦🍧🍨🍩🍟🧀🥓

Yes just the drinks no food
Told my wife about this, her "treat" was a double gin and tonic...with alcohol-free gin. What.
