Hozelock Auto Reel with 30m Hose £67.99 @ Amazon

Just got an alert from the 3 camels for a price drop on this that I've had setup for a while now. Not the best price ever but doubtful it will go much lower in the current financial climate, could possibly be due to a new version but with the new version showing as £140 I think the price difference won't warrant the upgrade. Might be a good time to buy as prices will surely increase as summer approaches.

Decent price - heat added.

Cheers for sharing
good when they work, but pain when they don't and get frustrating trying to get it reel back in

I've got the floor reel version and every time I use it I want to throw it over the hedge like a hammer at the Olympics. If I actually end up with a meld down and throwing it I would try one of these.

Cheers for posting... just got one...ukhotdeals makes me poorer yet again.... it was loads cheaper than I’d seen it last summer.... also got a hozelock 140 lance but had to get that from screwfix as it was a third of the price compared to amazon and yet this auto reel was more expensive in screwfix....:/

Been looking for one myself and spotted this £71.98 in store at Costco, 5m more on the reel compared to the Hozelock, anyone had any Gardena stuff it any good?

Anyone else got experience with it? I’m in two minds whether to bother now. Read the reviews and am unsure now, still think it’s a good price but nothing is a good price if the product is poor quality.

I bought hozelock around 2003 and still goes strong

I bought a 30m one of these back in 2012 (it was green then and cost £78), so this is a really good price, considering it will probably come with 5 year warranty (on registration).

However, after about 4 years, I noticed a lot of rusty water running from underneath after use.

A non-replaceable o-ring had apparently perished and the return spring had also gone rusty over time resulting in the unit leaking rusty water all over the ground beneath.

Unfortunately, it was out of warranty with Hozelock, but they offered me a new one (£40m in grey) for £50 delivered, which I took them up on and have had that a couple of years now (came with 5 year warranty too).

I just hope the recent cold-snap hasn't ruined it, as apparently you are supposed to drain and store them indoors during winter.
It's gone up 20 quid
