Good price for this product which unfortunately rarely lasts me 12 months before the trigger starts leaking. I have tried several other hose guns. The best I have found so far is Wilko's own brand at £2.50.Which is out performing the Hozelock. Well worth a try.

Thanks for that, will have to try one.
As above, mine lasted a year. So, Last year I tried B&q’s own, which has failed too.

This year I’ve gone for Asda’s version.

I agree these rarely last very long. I took one of these apart this week to see if I could fix leaks from the front face and was surprised to find there were fragile paper thin o-rings glued to the inside of each of the spray options, all of which had disintegrated (and couldn't be replaced). The trigger mechanisms usually also develop leaks and aren't serviceable. Even the more expensive metal bodied models have the same shortcomings. They still work but you end up with wet sleeves and feet!

Saw these same price in B&M the other day.Ended up going for a Rolson one for £2.99 as I always leave them out in winter and they crack !

Leaving these out in the frost probably doesn't help with lifespan, I imagine trapped water freezes and expands, cracking the plastic and such like.I store mine in the garage over winter and usually get 5 years out of these.

I agree with comments about leaving it outside over winter as they crack and leak. Just had to bin mine after a few months which I presume is due to the cold weather. Bought a cheap Asda branded one instead. Feels better made IMO

Congrats on most random post I’ve ever read on here
This looks to be a well reviewed alternative for half the price. (not multi spray though).

My wife genuinely calls them "Hozelcock"
My wilko one has been outside for several winters with no problems.
